I'm a journalism student terrified of pigeons (damn those bloodthirsty flying rats) and in love with people who have a sense of humour. I divide my food into separate piles before eating it, which is probably one of the reasons people think I'm weird. Well, there is also that thing where I like to walk around my flat naked, but I assume not many people know about that.

I love writing and I know many authors have probably said this but... feedback means a lot. A LOT! If you've reviewed any fic of mine you know I always reply. Sometimes I even manage to be funny! Or creepy. I guess that depends on your point of view. ;)

Summary: A 2011 Buffy back in 1880 along with William Pratt. After an ocean voyage and a stop in New York City, our couple sets off across the American West.

There are showdowns, riots, murder and olde tyme bathing suits. The story is also chock full of history and you'll learn all the 'hip slang' from these wacky Victorians in no time. It also features a few real historical figures, but no spoilers. I'll only say that it is NOT Genghis Khan and Amelia Earhart. Put that thought right out of your mind.

Though this is a sequel to "Yours, William," it also works as a stand alone. I had to take down "Yours" as I'm rewriting as an original. You can email me about this if you want info.

Okay, this was hilarious... "It’s what America is good at. Bringing super-sizing to the world since 1880." :D I missed reading this story so much, and now I can finally pick it up again because I handed in all my uni work. YES! Also, felt really bad for William and the whole Statue of Liberty thing because he's really trying to make it easy for Buffy. Then again, Buffy's reaction is understandable as well. And I really love all those bits of history you incorporate in the story... it makes everything seem very real. Aaah, it's all so well-written. :)

The idea of William and Buffy in the 19th century swimsuit. *gg* I'm pretty sure I've never read it in any other fic, for which I want to kiss you in a most inappropriate way. ;) Another hilarious line: "Throw a homeless guy and a drug bust into the mix and I’d swear we were at the Santa Monica Pier." LOL!! Reading this story is like tasting chocolate ice-cream for the first time. It gets you addicted for life!

What was weird was to realize that, to him, it would be kind of scandelous to see her so undressed in public and for him to be flaunting himself so. :D God I love those wacky victorians.!

I feel like I'm learning a lot about that era and that I can actually trust the historical bits you write because you've done your research. I've got to say, this is the most fun I've ever had while learning anything. :D I'm really enjoying the whole courting process and the UST!

Also, absolutely loved Buffy barging in to the barber's shop to protect William's curls. And... Mount Erection. *gg* I'm in love with your brilliant, cheeky mind and can't wait to see whether William will agree to a game of 'strip poker'. :D

William is the best husband/sweetest man ever! I love how Buffy's mood swings don't make him love her any less and how he keeps a calm head even though he must miss being with someone who remembers loving him. I love this version of him so much! Both him and Buffy. :)

Author's Response: I saw him as carrying \'them\" through these chapters. He carried all of who Elizabeth was, all the memories of what they were - and he was so lonely through it. I think this kind of bravery often goes unnoticed. Thanks, as always, for your comments

Whew! This was a whirlwind, to say the least! You certainly know how to write a sizzling sex scene. I don't think everyone realises that writing a good, cliche-free sex scene is quite hard, so kudos for that! :) And the plot thickens with the death of Henrietta.

And I've got to say, I have an irrational fear of porcelain dolls, so thank you for totally creeping me out with the whole Miss Edith scene where she smiled. *shudders* Why are porcelain dolls so scary?? lol

Good luck with writing chapter 30, btw!! I know all too well what it's like to be stuck writing a chapter, so here's to inspiration! :)

Author's Response: Thanks! You really have to be in the right mood to write sex. It\'s kind of work no matter what, really. It did feel odd to cram all the sex in one area of the story, but I wanted to mirror Billy/Dru with William/Buffy. I had an inimated jpg of a doll looking at their owner an owner freaking out that I nearly added to this! THanks!

And you know, it's just like Buffy to go off running into trouble all on her own. I'm glad William was stubborn and jumped after her and that he was angry, because he has a right to be. The chapter was as always so well-written that it made you feel Buffy's inner turmoil. I'm looking forward to reading the next chappie whenever you're done writing it. :)
