you evil, evil person. you would just leave it like that. wow. that was just...wow. i can't explain how it was...wow. okay, i think i'm said enough as to how it was all 'wow'. yeah. i really, really hope willow gets hers. i usually love her so much, even when she was all evil like on the show, but the things she's done in this story are just...probably unforgivable. it's true. dawn would be okay and casey would be alive and...just everything would be better probably. too bad they don't have a support group for magic abuse. willow so needs that right now. like i said, i hope she gets hers, but i don't know exactly what's going to happen what with the dogs and all. and hey, faith found her equal in a vampire. just like buffy. guess they're more alike than they thought at first. heh. please, soon. and i hope you feel good and better and have a happy valentine's day if it applies.

That was a VERY tense chapter for me.

I had to read this twice!!! The first time I was so caught up in the desperation that I was scared I missed something! I love how with the switch to each character's reactions, I find myself matching theirs; Gunn's confusion, Spike's anger, fear, and, desperation, Jenner's assessments, Buffy's sadness and confusion, and Tara's abject disgust. *LOL* I think I was even out of breath from mentally running along with Spike! It is so wonderful to read something that can evoke so much reaction.

I love little domestic moments of familiarity like this. It is a mere passing moment, yet in the whirlwind of the rest of the chapter, it brings you a sense of comfort knowing that there is still Buffy & Spike. In love. *sigh*

“Nice pooch, calm down.” He slowed to a walk, edging closer and closer, willing to risk getting torn apart to save Tara. “C’mon you mangy cur, lemme save the girl.” Spike realized it was futile, but he wasn’t going to allow another one of his girls to get hurt. He’d had more than enough of that over the past couple of days.

Isn't this what makes us love Spike so much? Captured in a paragraph, and always at the forefront a hero. Save the girl. No longer doing so out of the love for his woman, but out of caring for the women he has come to love in addition to Buffy. His family. His Girls. *sniffle*

Never mind about not answering the comments ~ I love to read your stories, that is thank enough :) ~ So Faith is hot for Jenner, huh? Now she understand Buffy a bit ;-) ~ *grins* The city sign is steel reinforced now? *gg* So they noticed that it got knocked down a lot. ~ It all builds up... everyone is drawn where the hounds have circled Willow and Tara (expect the ones in the hospital). Oh my.. Willow may be gone for now but at last she didn't take Tara with her or hurt her more than she did before. Looking forward to the next part even if it means it getting nearer to the end.

Holy crap! Two absolutely fantastic chapters! I was absolutely on the edge of my seat with this one! All the hurt...all the pain...I certainly DO how Willow gets her comuppance!

“I did it for us, you and me. So we could be happy again – the way things are supposed to be.”

Um...yeah. That defense just doesn't really work for me. Shall we list the many sins Willow has committed in the very recent past? Let's see: Dragging Buffy out of Heaven; casting memeory spells; altering reality to her liking; playing God and deciding who lives or dies; causing the death of a boy- and by extension, Dawn's attempted suicide. Do I really need to go on?


As for the plotbunnies-

Moi? I would ne- okay, I did. But it was for a good cause, honest! And who doesn't love an adorably cuddly plotbunny every once in a while? **blinks innocently**

Excellent set-up. Can't wait for when the whole show goes down.
