oh gods what is willow doing now. you got me on the edge of my seat. i so hope they get cordi out soon.....

Well I have gone back and reread the whole series from the start. Its even better than i remember which shouldnt' be that surprising :) One thing i'm curious about is teh whole buffy being sick thing - earlier in chapter 24 spike smelt somethign that made him really excited and then buffy talks about there being a surprise for xmas. My assumptions are that she is pregnant maybe those are incorrect. but it just seems weird that in chapter 26 buffy starts talking about some weird bug she might have caught. hmm.. slightly confused. oh well :) also i wish we could find otu the back story to kirsten - is she one of the deccendents of the previous potential slayers childen, other weird monk experiments, oh! whats giong on with Dawn? on the second read through i noticed that you had Dawn jumping down a flight of stairs - is she giogn to have some hidden strengths due to her parentage? Throughout the entire story i seriously wanted to hurt Xander - i ca'nt wait till anya and him break up!! i'm nervous about williow because i completely forgot that the huntsman was going to hang around until the final betrayel - that definately doesn't sound good... This story is soo awesome. Thank you for taking the time to write it and share it with us. I apprecaite it!! i ca'nt wait for the next chapter so hopefuly we can figure out and rescue cordy...i'm exicted because there are so many loose ends so in my mind that means there are many more chapters coming, woohoo!!!!

i feel sooo bad for cordelia - i'm all worried about what bad stuff willow has brewing. grrr - so basically its a great chapter!! :) keep up the fantastic work! I cant say this enough but I'm really excited to see where you end up taking this because its so well written!!

I don't think Connor growing so fast is a bad thing. I hope Anya dumps Xander soon. Poor Cordy. I hope they get her out.

You did an excellent job juggling all of the characters and their different emotions and situations in this chapter. Giles' reaction to Cordelia's plight was especially well written. Anya's vignette, too, was gripping. Finishing the chapter with Angelus and Drusilla torturing Cordelia burned the grim image in my mind, bringing the chapter full circle from Buffy and Spike observing Connor's heightened development.

I love this story-can't wait to see what happens next.

Cordelia has taken on the Buffy role here, in that it is she who now feels - really feels - the brunt of Angelus's brutality and Giles is appalled to realise that for days she has suffered as they were oblivious to her plight. For me, the Watcher's startled epiphany - of just how momentous Spike's intervention was, all those years ago at the mansion - appeased me somewhat of the frustration I had with the Series. The Scoobies never seemed to ever acknowledge any - any any any - kind of debt or gratitude to the numerous Spike savers and it was always Buffy who had to shoulder their unspoken blame for the Angelus factor. Your narrative is brutal but not gratuitous: this is the Scourge, returned and revitalised. Excellent.

good chapater. i hope the scoobies rescue cordy soon. and when is buffy going to realize she's pregnant. can't wait for Xander's reaction to that. no doubt he will act like a ..jerk... that's not what i wanted to say but have to keep it nice. this is one of my favorites. please update soon!

Mmm - I wonder if it's real bad that Connor grows so quickly - or if it's only because he has special parents. ~*~*~*~ What would have happened when Wesley had opened the window? Angel (and Dru) would have been dust - if it were Angel and Dru. Willow? Evil-Willow and spells: VERY bad. Anya? Wonder if she'll do something - she noticed now the way Xander treats her it's the way it should be. ~ Poor Cordelia - I hope they'll get her out. Angel? I think I'm taking Giles side - a dusty end for him. A soul like before can vanish again. And Angelus is bad - Spike not. And Cordelia will have a vision? Looking forward to see what will happen next.

Good chapter update. Lots going on in this one. You moved about with snippets from every portion and facet of the story's people. I liked that. Poor Cordelia. I wonder if they are going to reach her in time. Look forward to the next update.

Absolutely perfect!!! This was a phenomenal chapter, and I'm glad that it's a pivotal part of the story. All of it was filled with so much information and detail that I can actually see it unfolding in my mind....Giles' pain, Cordy's fear, Angelus' evil, and more. Oh man, I can't wait for the next chapter....this is a masterpiece, Niahm, a true masterpiece.

Disturbing. I know it is suppose to be. I';m still here and I plan to be here until the end, but I'm not very good at revieiwing when all I can do is get through the chapter. I can't wait until poor Cordy gets to just die.
