yeah, William needs to loosen up!! u made Zoccola do a freakin' number on him! won't even go out just in case she calls?? she's got that dog collar tight (and not in a good way)! and i'm sitting here rubbing my hands together, waiting for some Spike to bust out! i have a feeling it's gonna be awesome! :)

p.s. Zoccola is a nasty Italian word that basically means bitch. and i do believe that's the nicest interpretation of it.

Buffy and William are dancing again—even if they have not yet made it to the Bronze. You’ve written them as if they’re dancing the minuet. They’re taking small, graceful steps towards each other and for now they’re in control. Soon it will be more of a waltz and later, it will be close-quartered dancing of the intimate nature. You’ve sprinkled their fleeting touches and passes with the whiff William takes of Buffy’s scent, her visual sweep of William’s attire, and the “innocent” remark of William’s “I’m all yours.” I especially liked the mention of a philanthropist-William. You’ve given the reader (and Buffy) more reason to justify that Cecily doesn’t deserve him. It will be interesting to see how the Spike tendencies of “sex god” emerge from this William incarnation. I can’t wait!

I loved writing him as a caring and generous person, as you said, to further demonstrate how completely *wrong* Cecily is for him.

Hey Pagan. You know I'm adoring this story. I do love shy William. He is so cute and adorable. But I don't think him being shy is the only reason why he doesn't go after Buffy. I think it is mainly to do with the fact that he is a married man and wants to stay faithful even if his wife treats him like shit. That is just my opinion. It seems to me that Buffy has a bit of shyness in her as well. She asked for a drink because she was nervous. Not that I blame her. She is going after her friend who is married to her cousin. Even if her cousin is a bitch. I also think Buffy is right on when she suspects that William has a bit of animal in him when he is unleashed. We all know he does. Which is why we love William. We know there is a bit of Spike in there somewhere. He just needs to let out to play. I love reading the part where William was in Africa helping the kids and people there with a clinic. You describing the picture with him and the kids was so sweet. I wanted to cry. I'm such a sap right now. Cecily is one stupid girl for not loving William. But at least Buffy is smart enough. Thanks for the wonderful chapter. Love ya Pagan Baby!

I loved adding the tidbit about William's trip to Africa. I think it helped to show just how sweet and compassionate he is :)
