Last summer, I was standing right there across the river from the London Eye. (I'm from Sweden so for me that's a far way from home) When I read about it now, I could just picture me Spike and Buffy there. So loving this fic, keep the chapters coming! :)

I'm so grateful for all the videos of youtube of people taking a ride on the London Eye at night and walking around the Financial District at night. Really enjoyable chapter. Fun little tour of London, liked looking in Spike's safe-deposit box (and what, pray tell, did he get out while Buffy's back was turned?), and that kiss in the hallway...yum! Cute touch with each of them wearing his old glasses briefly. :)

Have we seen the last of Angel? What plan does Giles have up his sleeve? I was a bit worried that Miss Barns would be a bit too officious for our heroes' good. I'm happy it appears that things worked out ok. (Her no bugs comment seemed so ... harsh! lol)

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Yes, we have seen the last of Angel. Although he is mentioned a few times in later chapters. I have the barest inkling of an idea for a third story in this verse, and he would be in it. I don't know if I'll write it though. We'll have to see. I was a foster parents for a number a years and one of the regulations for the hosue was that no bugs be visible. If they saw bugs, they had to write it down in a report. I kid you not. You wouldn't believe the rules and carp we had to put up with. No wonder more people don't foster. Most of the Social Workers genuinely cared for the children though.
