Am I happy you posted tonight or what??? What a crummy day. After the flu finally passed, I got a call from school today--- my 14 yr old swallowed a pop top to an aluminum can. After 7 hours in the ER ... home to a neighbor in need of rescue and my dog with the rear end flu. blech!!! Your posting makes up for ALL of that rot. What does that tell you eh?

OK my friend, you know how much we have discussed our mutual "admiration" for JM/William/Spike? Well, I believe that you have successfully incorporated each and possibly every conceivable wonderful personality and physical trait (with the exception of being an incredible father ... which is sooooo sexy) into this one character of yours. DANG he is really perfect !! Truthfully, he is kind of blowing Buffy away (but Spike always did in my mind).

You wrote the game SO well. And I KNOW Bach is more than likely one of YOUR dinner guests should you play the game ... right?? Isn't Bach your favorite to knock out on the ivory when you play??

And come on, he recited poetry, favored Jennifer over Angelina (don't most guys die for Angelina and most women favor Jennifer?) And the "true love" of his great grandparents ... His answers tell of a thoughtful, sensitive, perfect match for me (if only I weren't married ... happily) mwaaahaaahaaahaaa kidding and you know it. I love my man ... he is my soul mate.

Boy T, you write those steamy scenes like no other. Just please promise a scene later (like chapter 127) where she does tie him up because I was sitting here muttering "yeah, yeah, tie him up, tie him up ... oh yeah ... silk scarves, up stairs ... go girl!!"

I know the angst is coming and it will ultimately make the ending better so,
I will console myself through the upcoming angst by rereading all of this great work that you have already written. Such a wonderful story. You know that it's my favorite.

Author's Response: Oh my, what a day indeed. I'm gald I could bring you a sort of break from it. I'm thrilled you enjoyed the game (Tina throws a knowing wink). Yup, this William/Spike is the perfect guy, well, he has some flaws, but overall Buffy is gobsmacked by him. Yup, I'm busted, Bach is my choice, for the very reasons William mentioned and because I do play so much of his music on the piano. Baroque rocks in my mind - geek that I am. You know he had to do the poetry bit, I mean it's Wiliam we're talking about here. And since he's all about being faithful and such, naturally he would choose the girl next door - Jennifer. LMAO, so you want a bondage scene huh? I might be able to slide that in at some point. Yes the angst is forthcoming, but I know you can handle it despite your self-procalimed angst-whimp status. That was a great, fantastic chapter. I loved your choice of persons who are invited to the party and I loved it that Buffy knows now that he is a really intelligent person.

I think i was a really great gift Buffy gave him and that he shoul understand right then that she wants more from him than his body. But he didn´t want to answer the last question. Guess why, he?? A little afraid.

Okay, this was the already a happy chapter and now, I guess, there is coming the angst, am I right?????

Glad you liked the choices in dinner guests - I threw one of my own choices out there of course, couldn't help it (Bach). William does understand to an extent that Buffy wants him for more than just his talents, but until she actually admits it to him, he doesn't want to assume too much - insecurity. Yes, you're right, the angst will be in the next chapter, the muse insist it be so. But stick with me, it's spuffy in the end sweety. Loved the game and their answers, almost as much as I loved the growing familiarity between them. I'm glad they both could relax and be themselves and that your muse decided to give us more of this glimpse into what could be. It was a sweet, hot and overall well rounded chapter, just awesome. Awesome, awesome chapter! Loved the getting to know you bit. It was sweet and even though they obviously have different tastes, they are willing to listen to the other. They are so fun, I am really enjoying reading them fall in love even more. That Robert Burns’s poem has always been one of my favorites, it was sweet that you had him recite it to her. They are just so effing CUTE!!!

Okay, great chapter. Again. Naturally. You are awesome! Thanks for the update. Now I have to pretend I can concentrate on work. Sheesh.
