I'm so glad Buffy and Spike are sharing these romantic moments before things get rocky. I loved how Buffy kept asking Spike what he wanted, she was so considerate and loving and I really appreciated that. I continue to enjoy the music you include with story, the song fit the Spuffy lovin' perfectly. Wonderful chapter!

Author's Response: Glad you're enjoying the tender romantic moments... the muse feels it necessary they connect on a deep level before things get out of hand again. Buffy really wanted to be sure that it was William that wanted her and to see beyond Spike. Glad you liked the music. I thought that song was so sexy and that Dusty273 was right, it would be perfect for the fic... so naturally the muse went for a raw moment to include it. Author's Response: It has it's possibilities, but most of the business he got came from wealthy women of LA. Not to mention a chef rarely comes out of the kitchen.... so for those two reason plus the fictional aspect, I'll just say it's unlikely.

Five awards? Congratulations! That needed screaming :)
And now the evening gets a wet end as it seems. :) Buffy's little kissing play? Seems like Spike is given the control to Buffy, seeing if she really wants to kiss him. (Oh boy, sure she does.) Good to see too that both Spike and William are seeing a future for them with Buffy. And Buffy? She is doing the right thing, asking Spike how far he wants to go. It binds him even more to her. (Good questions Buffy did raise when thinking. Will Spike tell her? We'll see. Will she be able to overlook his position? We'll have to wait to see I guess.
And Buffy telling him she hired him today for his company? It should show him what he means to her.
And loved his slip of tongue, almost saying "what Buffy means to him" or calling her "his". And another step: Buffy calling Spike 'William', the man, not the gigolo.
One more non angsty chapter? Good :) The angsty ones will come soon enough.
Author's Response: Yeah, he did hand over the control, mostl b/c he's in love with her, and doesn't want his job or duty to be involved when he's with her. Yeah, she did want his permission... mainly b/c she didn't want SPike... she wanted to know if William would want her.
Yeah, those questions Buffy have are legitmate, as to her getting any answers or William offering any information... can't say yet, sorry.
Yup, one more chapter before the drama commences hon. Thanks for the lovely review.
