This is so well-done: believable characterization, fluid dialogue, a nice pace to the story.

I found this earlier tonight and had to read the whole thing straight through... even though it is now 3:39 am my time. I am absolutley enthralled by their predicament and feel that I should have the ability as the reader to just reach my arm in there and periodically slap Buffy and occasionally Spike upside the head just so that they are made aware of what's infront of them. And the fact that you as a writer can do that to me... more power to you. This has become a fast favorite and I can't wait for more. But now, it really is time for bed. Update soon!

Spike's confession was funny and sweet and frustrated. I loved that he and Buffy were both written to be vulnerable and not too soft. Buffy's plaintive, "I don't want to be the girl who smashes your Sex Pistols cd" was lovely. You've written valid reasons for her to need some time, but it makes sense that she'd want him to lean on while she thinks. You had a nice balance between of humor in the mix, too.

FINALLY! lol, that was super, I liked the way it worked because i didn't think it would be terribly realistic if Buffy was jsut like ok, because Spike was a bad rude man at one point. Anyways the takign time thing is good, helps convey the severity of the emotions and all that jazz. Yay, take care
