Wonderful chapter! I am glad that Buffy starts to trust her mom again. It was kinda sad that she only has Spike to confide in. (and Willow) Thanks for updating so often, it makes it so convenient to follow the story.

Another one hit out of the park. Very touching and very mature handling of the mother-daughter relationship. You didn't take the easy 'mean mom' versus 'rebellious spirited daughter' out that most would have turned to quickly. You presented valid adult reasons a mother might seem distant from her daughter's life and really took the time to flesh that out a bit. Now, I'd really like to see what was happening with Spike at the same time, downstairs. Any chance you can let us see that scene too? Cuz, that's a conversation I'd like to have heard. Great work, thanks for the updates and for sharing your obvious talent with the rest of us.

Ugh, a cappuccino? The nerve of her...lol! That was a bit amusing and I must say a really stupid thing to dump someone over, but then again I really don't wanna see Spike with Anya.
