OMG OMG OMG. where so i begin? so many tihns happened. i'll just start at the beginning and work my way down. spike is the absolute cutest thing in the world. wanting to know about buffies period. the ins and outs.....oh man. we all need a spike. he is just.....tara going to the bronze with oz. loved it. glad to see those two getting together. now they gotta put there heads together to do something about willow. and speaking of......what has she done. ia hve the feeling whatever she tried ot do will blow up in her face. a saying comes to mind "be careful what you wish for". now i onwder who those warrors are after. i ahve no doubt the'll show up in sunnyhell but.....something to ponder. so the vamps decided to bust the dance. glad spike got there when he did. angelus is back. as giles would say....dear lord. *hugs* Nia.. Thank you for the birthday gift it was fantastic *grins*. Ok so I am getting older, now on to the good stuff *laughs*. That Spike he just keeps getting more perfect every chapter. I mean what man would ask about a period. Please they think it's what makes us bitches...lil do they know it's putting of with their shit. But I digress...How touching and heartfelt was that moment. Gods it was like just read that scene over and over again and the cramping will just go away. Taking us into those tender emotions was fantastic. Oh that Willow, what has she done,but let things blow the hell up in her face. She asked that the true Spike be revealed. Well I would say he is already there, so she pissed with universe yet again and we shall see"becareful what you wish for" it can not be good sometimes. Ok so the covert action guys are after Dawn I take it? Somehow Casey may not be the normal teen first made to be? Hmmmmm I am stumped but hey remember i am old so the brain don't work as well. Hold my breath, tear my heart out and stomp on it. Gods that scene with Darla was just...I am at a loss for words. Angel getting a true happy,ahhhh the birth of child can do that to ya. It's a joy that is inscribable. YOu nailed the emotions that Angel was feeling as he held the new born boy in his arms. Gods that is scariest thing to love something so much and go oh shit now what. But alas we do. Oh Coridella should of shot Angel the moment Wesley had the infant. He doesn't deserve to have anything. Now havoc will he reap with Angelous back in the picture. Spike I see going seriously out of his mind if he can't find Dawn at the dance. This can't lead to anything good. Ahhhhhhhhhh cliffhanger evilness, I love it but I hate it. Oh well it was a great present for you to post. Thank you again Nia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah WHOA could Tara be turning to the male world again or just in need of someone who knew Willow the way she does.Either way wonderful interaction with her and Oz. I look forward to more on that relationship, be what i may.

Uh-oh...lots of badness. But not the writing, cause that was good. :) Willow's done a bad, bad thing, Angel got too happy, and Dawn's in trouble. You weren't kidding with your notes about darkness approaching for our gang. But mixed in that was some totally adorable Spuffyness. Can I just saw awww? And I like the stuff with Tara and Oz. Wondering how our heroes are going to manage to get themselves out of these messes...

There was so much in this chapter. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I am waiting for the next chapter. It is great that you are addressing Buffy's period and it's good that Spike is trying to understand it. I am not sure how the spell will affect Spike but I hope it's something good, because she asked that Spike show his true self...hmmm. It's great that you show Dawn having a good time as a teenager but I am afraid of what's going to happen next. Angel losing his soul when his son is born is very believable. I actually questioned this episode on AtS. He must have experienced a moment of true happiness. I am not happy that Angelus back but at least he knew it would happened and handed the baby to Wesley... I love the series and please update soon.

Whoa, so freaking good! Great chapter! The Tara/Oz friendship is something I can really see happening. If not for the Willow-issue I could have seen them getting along even back in s4, what with their calmer and in some ways more mature natures. Spike trying to understand the workings of a human body is just sweet; and something I believe he would do. Dawn crushing on Wes is so cute. And she must be so squicked by the thought of ever having a crush on Spike! Don't even wanna think about having the hots for someone only to find out he's my dad. *shudder* Love the soul-losage after Connors birth. Don't get why that't didn't happen anyway, the curse was about perfect happiness; the show made it seem as if having an orgasm is the only way to be perfectly happy. That's pretty swallow, isn't it? As if Angel only cared about that. (Ok, I don't like him and believing that only supports the opinion I have of him; still, even I see that it wasn't really all that realistic...) Again, a really amazing chapter, looking forward to the next one. And to find out how Willow's sick spell is going to backfire ;-)

WOW!!! The Angel/Darla scene still gets to me....I cry like mad for her and the love she has for her baby (and the knowledge that it's only because of the shared soul)...it just breaks my heart. Spuffy....wow. I also liked the Dawn scene, very sweet. Can't wait for more!!!

Oh my god, Nia... I have come undone. This chapter is so heartbreaking and hopeful. Filled with such complex emotions. I was tearing up when Dawn came down the stairs, and in full out tears when Angel and Darla were conversing on top of the building. How fitting is it that such a momentous ocassion as Dawn's first dance would occur after Dawn has discovered who her parents are? This was so moving. That Spike and Buffy were playing the roles they actually owned. Oh gosh, I can' t stop the tears. And Darla's desperate pleas to Angel regarding the loss of life within her body. Wonderful use of some very poignant and important canon lines. I hope you write more of Darla's plight. I was floored by Julie Benz's performance on Angel. She was not used nearly enough. And you write Darla spectacularly. I get goose bumps reading this scene. The scene between Buffy and Spike in the bathroom was so precious, so sexy, so amazing. He does love taking care of her doesn't he? Lucky, lucky girl. Wonderful chapter Nia. Just beautiful. I'm going to need to stock up on kleenex this weekend. If this chapter is indicative of the bumpiness we face, I'm gonna need them. Thank you for such a beautiful chapter.

I loved Spike's reaction to seeing Dawn--very fatherly and sweet. And the last line at the end was very aww worthy. :) The scenes with Darla and Angel are just as powerful here as they were on the show, and I'm impressed with how well you weave the dialogue into the story. A lot of authors try to, but it's rarely done well. (It does help that you're using the characters the dialogue was intended for...) Everything with Darla and Connor was gut-twisting, and you've managed to keep it at that level. Great chapter as always!

Well now that hottness can sure melt the new fallen snow in my yard today. That said. Dawn looked so beautiful. Spike trying to be all host with most. Good for him wanting to meet the parents. As it should of been. Him helping her down the steps and telling her she was beautiful and all grown up. *tears* brings back some good memories. I can sympathize with Buffy's ickies. But hey now if the curse could be that fun then I would not complain about alittle cramping. Nia you wrote that scene like chocolate satin pie..smooth, rich, and tastey. Very nicely done. Who needs steam when you have the hottness that was going on in that bathroom. Great desciption of the events. I could just imagine Spike's eyes with mischeif in them. *grins*. Now for Darla, I am not and was never an Angel fan. Though the way you described how Darla was feeling, oh gods how heart wrenching. Since I did not watch the show I have not idea how this plays out, so I am eager to know if she is able to remember. Will she be able to love this child. Will Angel help her, will he be a man for once and help her through this? The baby needs him but so does Darla. I hope she finds some solace. Then there is the Dawn, having a great moment at the dance. Oh sweet that she looks over at the boy and just thinks he is the cutest thing on two legs. How she is so thankful for Spike not being "hard father figure". Those "gods of the first date" must of just heard her plea. *grins*. Excellent Chapter Nia, nice play of emotions. Keeping us wanting more and more and more. But what is the rest of gang up to? The shit hitting the fan soon? *rubs hands together* can't wait to find out.

OH MY GODS! I knew we were building up to this, but to see it in black and white is just amazing. I didn't realize, though, that so much would have been prearranged by the monks to enable this to occur. I mean...so many events would have to have been strategically in place. Good gods. Please don't tell me Spike was arranged to fall in love with the slayer. Oh man. I just hope that, when Dawn does disclose this info to Buffy and Spike, that Spike won't doubt his "sudden" development of feelings for Buffy the previous year. We all know how much Spike enjoyed being the Initiative's guinea pig. Not. I can only imagine how he might react to finding out he and Buffy have been playing the part of two puzzle pieces for some monks for the better part of 2 years. Ugh. I wouldn't want to be in Dawn's shoes for the upcoming convo. So glad that Dawn now knows for sure where and who she came from though. That has got to be such a burden lifted from her shoulders. To know that she belongs somewhere must make everything else seem bearable. *hugs Dawnie* Willow's ominous musings have me worried a bit, especially with Giles out of town. Well, I'll wait to see how that develops. Loving, loving, loving this story so much Nia. Ok so I read these so fast that I foget things. I see Wesley as pulling out a book to help Darla(nice choice on the book very helpful). Spike interigating Casey was straight out of my high school days. My father would do that to me for the boys who would come to call. Willow is making my skin crawl. I have a hard time reading her. Her non moral character is horrifying. You are really capaturing her character well and bringing that out on the page. Excellent. Giles's instincts are kicking in as usual on things. I just hope Willow gets whatever she does thrown back at her. That she gets a clue about the fact that Buffy and Spike love each other and that is not going to change. Ok I think I remembered things this time.
