Everyone sleeping made this chapter quiet but still moved the story forward. Wesley and Tara working and sleeping together (platonically) was natural and believable. Buffy's slayer dream was vivid and the bait and switch of the false awakening to a blood covered Angelus was shocking - it put my heart in my throat! I can't wait to find out what the dream means.

what i like in your origin stories is that spike is not portrayed as a weak puppy. I mean for godsake the man has beaten two slayers, and angel in season5. keep up the good work

This is a totally awesome story. I was following it on another site, but then I found out that it was here ... and you've updated it more here. Yippee!! {Does a happy dance} I love this story, and I will keep reading and reviewing. DOn't worry about the review numbers not coming close to hit numbers. I know how much it can suck, but know that those of us that are reviewing are appreciating it. A lot of people don't know what to say, but they enjoy reading still the same.

Sorry I haven't been as diligent in reviewing. Sometimes in really great epic fanfic like this, I forget it's fanfic and that the reviews are so important to the writers. In a way that's sort of a compliment (or sort of a cop out, yes I know). But this story is just amazing and I cling to each chapter. As always I love your portrayl of fragile Buffy. And I like in this chapter how she finds her inner strength because she needs to. Can't wait for more.

That vision of Angel, standing in Buffy's room with bloody hands was just EVIL. Jeez louise, you scared the shit out of me. My heart still hasn't calmed down. Wonderful chapter again Nia. Particularly liked the slayer dream. Your imagery and use of lightning was very effective in creating a surreal experience. I can't wait to see how Buffy reacts to knowing Angelus is loose. Hopefully this slayer dream will prepare her for the news. Thanks for another amazing chapter!
