Really great wrap up of some loose ends, Nia. I loved the discussions that took place in the bedroom and kitchen. I'm really, really glad that some things were gotten out in the open. Particularly Anya's pain and frustration of dealing with Xander. When she broke down, and then got bubbles on her face from wiping her tears, I just about lost it. Anya's tears have always done that to me. I think it's because she's usually so upbeat, and she normally intellectualizes things. For Anya to be overcome by her emotions is a BIG thing. Poor girl. *beats Xander with his own leg* Bastard. Anyway...lovely, amazing chapter again Nia! Love the friendship and commraderie developing between the Brits. It just makes me so happy to see Spike developing friendships. I can't wait to see Giles come back and what he found out. *hugs you for a great chapter*

This rocks rocks rocks. I just discovered the whole set of stories the other day, very belatedly, and have spent hours this past weekend catching up. Am dreading and loving it at the same time - best possible place to be with BtVS fic. Yes, you're right, I absolutely hate it. (picture that in sarcastic font..lol). Another good chapter, as always. I liked the Wes and Spike bonding. Very good. Wondering what's going to happen with Cordelia. Poor Anya. I just keep feeling worse for her. But good for her for telling Buffy the truth about her status with Xander. He's an ass for forcing her to keep in a secret in the first place.

Nice brewing the pot chapter. I see you adding all kinds of herbs and stiring to make sure it's just right before you unleash it's power. Lots to consider here. I am very happy to see that Anya has finally broken down and talked about how she was feeling. Now maybe she will dump Xander's sorry ass. Tara and Buffy taking care of Connor is just wonderful and touching. Wes and Spike having a good ole chat. Ah the traitor to go the huntsman, so when do the dogs pick Willow up? *grins*. Never thought about it either till you mentioned all the really horrid stuff that Angelous is capbable of. Still a pitful excuss for a vampire,but alas he is back and who will he strike for first? Loved Tara's sending the healing into Spike. YIKES the itching, that would suck big time. Bring on the morphine. This chapter carried alot of weight. You are weaving the threads here. Giving us a seriuos cliffhanger as to what is going to happen. I mean the huntsman, willow, angelous, and that is just the big ones, so many other lil threads to tuck into. Nia you are awesome, I couldn't not keep them all straight. Let the muse continue to just work her "mojo"

Don't berate your talents. This is a good chapter. It contains plenty of details, and it moves the story along at a decent pace. You have so many things going on with various people. It is going to take a lot to push the flow. I think you are doing a fine job. I look forward to the next update.

Really enjoying this story. I didn't see the Tara/Oz coming; but I'm hoping you'll run with it. It makes sense in a weird kind of way! Also very curious to find out what the deal with Dawn is; and why the Knights who say "Key" are still after her. Hoping for more soon!

This chapter was loaded with important plot developments - Angelus is heading toward Sunnydale and has summoned Drusilla. Casey has been welcomed into "family life," and is calling himself Dawn's boyfriend. Xander is getting more and more wound up and appears on the verge of blowing. Buffy has a plan to heal Spike and will not take no for an answer. Spike really likes the morphine, which is fun to read and lightens the mood. Why would you want to scrap any of that? It all seems to be driving the characters toward even more physical and emotional drama. Well, maybe not Spike on morphine, that's just cracking me up.

Well, I'm glad that you didn't scrap it. I think the development of Xander's character that took place in this chapter was important to the story. It's almost like he is turning into his abusive father; however, unlike in other stories I have read, he isn't realizing the mistakes he is making, let alone truly feeling sorry for them. It's fun to see a different Xander, even if I do really hate him in this story. Keep up the great work, it's been absolutely wonderful so far!

Once again you established the characters and their underlying motives even further which serves to make the coming action that much intense. I do want to see Spike let Buffy heal him - so the tease was great - makes me want the next chapter all that more!

I liked it. It was unpleasant, but it went well in the story. I am a Xander fan, but he never treated Anya right and his hatred of demons was irritating. I'll never understand exactly why he propsed to Anya instead of just dating.

I loved it. Xander showed another bit of his being (almost shaking Anya with the baby). And I think - maybe - Buffy sees him now how he is. But maybe she did see him before - with his hate of demons. I think she'll let Spike drink of her - whatever he thinks about it. Hopefully he'll be better soon; when Dru is coming, too... it's getting dangerous for all of them. Love the new scoobies!
