Good chapter. I really enjoyed the fact that Angelus was underestimating everyone and his annoyance that they'd be flippant while he was trying to upset them.

Are you kidding?? You know your fans check every day for an update. We know you aren't feeling that strong but we all look anyway. Any update is a grand present we all rejoice. Love the atmosphere you're building and the Darla explanation makes so much sense it should be part of canon. Take care of yourself.

Excellent chapter update. {huggles} Don't worry about length. You have to write wha tyou feel, and end where you feel the chapter ends. If you force yourself to numbers it will be more of a strain and a stress. Your chapters are a good size. Trust me, I've seen much shorter.

You've still got me, especially after this chapter!! Great update!!! Loved the Giles/everyone scene after the chip removal was introduced, but I really loved the snarky comment he made to Buffy....that's sooo what I envisioned Giles to be like. And the end...I was laughing too!! Angel is depending too much on his own arrogance...but I fear all that when Drusilla comes back...can't wait for more!!!

Oh, I'm definitely still with. I'm gonna enjoy watching Angel get what's coming to him . He doesn't realize how out of the loop he is with the Sunnydale crowd. He also doesn't realize how much Wesley has grown since he first met him. It should be fun when he finally clues in.

Is anyone still with you? *laughs* Wild anything could not keep me from reading this story. Well maybe one wild child but that's ok. Anyways, WOW!!!. Nice exchanges between the characters. Each one feeling as if they have connected and can feel at home with their ideas and thoughts. Giles thinking he was going to get a fight over the chip removal and Buffy giggling was great. Hard to keep the ole englishman guessing and well I believe they surprised him. MMMM Dr. Thomas, yes I believe he could fly to sunnydale to do the chipectomy *winks*. Maybe Oz's auntie Maureen could help assit in the surgery. Willow, oh get a clue you dumb twit. I have to say that even though I hate Angel, I find it funny he made her squirm. Wes, you go, keeping that poor excuse of a vampire on the edge. Angel is going to screw up and hopefully get staked in the end. THAT would be wicked. Oh yeah wishful thinking on my part totally. Is it just me or has Angelus started becoming a bit senile in his old age? Exactly what was he hoping to accomplish with a crank call to the Watcher? And the whole part about Giles mentioning a chipectomy was pretty funny. Him being so prepared for the fight that didn't come. I agree that they shouldn't hide the kids. Angelus would see it as a weakenss and sign that he was winning. Plus, sending the kids away would only distract Spike and Buffy. Wonderful update, Nia!
