Poor Dawn...that was so heart-breaking to read! It's too bad that Casey had to die - the innocent ones often do. Dawn will one day realize that Casey gave the ultimate gift...his life for hers. Wow...
I'm glad that Faith finally made it to the group. It really shows that she's not this bad Slayer - that she really has a connection to this crew. Even though they're wary of her presence right now...it'll do them wonders to have her back.

wow, see, I came down with strep yesterday and was confined to my room so I started orgions. Well, now, at 3:35 pm I am done with both stories - well at least up to what you have written - and utterly amazed! Amazing story you are weaving here and thanks for making it a little bit easier to be bed ridden! :)

At last Faith is in Sunnydale now. And Kirsten is still there. So her father is a fight instructor? Or maybe something more, huh? When I'm right (or I read here before) her mother fights, too. And both are very good :) *sniff* Poor Dawn so devastated. (And very good written, very emotional.) And I think Wesley will soon find out who Kirsten is. And it seems as if Oz indeed feels something for Tara. Slainte!

Oh playing catch up....and I must say you are doing a awesome job.........now Faith is in the mix....and I hope Willow is about to get what she deserves.......and I think others would agree the dogs need to be fed. For Casey's death falls on her head, for his blood is all over her........and the bitch should pay.......

Okay let me get to the light hearted stuff. I just love Maureen. I think she is a calming force for all of them and the way she handled Dawn for great. The Hunter is on the track of his prey..And Faith finally made it to Sunnydale and got a glimpse of Buffy's room and Connor at the hospital.
Now all I can say right now is that Dawn's anquish just brok my hear. I know that there has been alot of devistation in her lift and most of it was due to the fact that she was the key but to finally have a version of "normal" and having Casey being taken from her had to be a final crushing blow.
But in everything, they all know their roles for each other. Dawn still knows her her parents are. Buffy and Spike are there to protect their little girl while she is in the hospital. Oz and his "wolf" instinct recognizing Tara as one of his own if not his version of mate.
And how about Kristen staying put. Just so much in this chapter and I don't want to run out of space but I just had to let you know this was awesome.

That was an exciting chapter and it flowed well given all the activity. Faith's arrival was smoothly choreographed. You did a good job setting everyone in place. Oz' search for answers was a good aside, and I loved his self questioning about his attraction to lesbians. Maureen Osbourne was a bit of calm in the tumultuous hospital scene.

It works fine with me. It's all very real, if you're worried about inconsistencies or some other such things. I'm glad that some more not-really-secrets have come out. And I Kirstens identity is becoming clearer and clearer, though I've had my suspicions for a while now. I still absolutely love this story. You're a great writer. Who knows, maybe in the future you're gonna publish something? :)

Oh yeah it works just fine - and I love the Oz/Tara angle.
There are still so many avenues of possibility with this story - it's a compelling read. Thanks!

Yep, it worked. The chapter was very good and you can actually feel everyone's confusion. Dawn's grief is almost palpable. Thanks for updatig when you're feeling so poorly.

Boooya! New chapters! You've made my week! SO loving this! Poor Casey. Oh, well, that's kinda the point of original characters, isn't it? You can kill them off indescriminately and create angst without the homicidal flaming reviews.

This was great and worked perfectly! You've given us the answers we needed from the last chapter, and you introduced Faith to the group in a realistic way. Oh, and the scene w/Dawn telling the truth about Buffy/Spike while sedated....perfection. Wonderful job, and I really can't wait for more.

Your story is wonderful. I am wondering about Dawn friend who and what she is. Casey I was sorry about. Faith back in the picture to help is a wonder. Sorry you are still hurting and hope these last few beautiful days of fall will help your recovery.

God Nia--don't doubt that it works--I so want more though. The scene with Buffy/Spike/Dawn brought tears to my eyes. Dawn's grief was tangible and that should tell you that you did your job well. Kirsten is interesting--I have a feeling about her...can't wait to see if I'm right.

I can't wait for the next installment...I hate waiting. ;-)
