Spike delivering Parker to the police after beating him into a gooey paste surprised me in a really good way. Buffy's advances were very sad, and I loved Spike's reassuring dialogue throughout their conversation.

This line: “If you’re laughing,” he ground out between hits. “You’re not in enough pain.” was brilliant. I really liked that line. Also it's so sad to see what parker has done to Buffy's view of men, hopefully Spike can change that and prove to her that not all men are disgusting pig that need to be put down. Very well written chapter. Keep it up!

Finally Parker got the shit beat out of him. That was great! I"m really glad Spike refused her right there. It wouldn't be a good time, I did feel for her though. I hope everything would be okay with them and Parker won't be that much of a problem anymore. Great work=)

Poor little Buffy. Those rape kit exams are a highly unpleasant thing to go through. I'm glad Spike was there to offer her support. And though I really hope Parker does get taken care of, I hope Spike can stay on the free side of a jail cell. And Buffy, she just needs all of the quiet support everyone can muster. Quite the wonderful and important chapter. Very well, (and believably) handled.
