I've been checking every day to see if this fic had been updated. I was just about to turn off my computer to go to bed--damn, it's 5am, it's about time too!--when I decided to check the site one last time for updates (I'm weak and addicted to fanfic reading)... and here it was! Thanks. I know real life has a not so funny tendency to get in the way sometimes, so I'm just grateful that you found a moment to update and I hope that whatever it is that's not going well in your life right now will get better. Read something way depressing a moment ago and I really needed something sweet to cheer me up. This chapter did it just fine. I love, love, LOVE the relationship between Spike and Buffy in this fic. It's perfect. And I'm crazy about the idea of them being a family. I just hope they're not gonna find anything wrong with Lia... like her turning into a slimmy green demon on her 18th birthday or something like that lol. Keep the chapters coming, girl, I love it.

Well, it's probably good that you put the warning at the top of the chapter, but I have to say I found nothing wierd in all of this. Don't have children myself, but it seems to me that motherhood is pretty much linked to sex. I do think Buffy's handling this all well, of course whatever demon thing Lia is doing probably helps with that.

Xander and Anya's reactions to Buffy's expanding bosom were embarrassing and hilarious. Buffy's desperation to be alone with Spike was palpable, and you do a good job writing her urgency. I hope Spike has a good explanation for how they got caught up in that claiming ritual and how Lia was bale to choose the two of them.
