Well....they do say it's easier to labor when you're up and about. Though I'd never offer to test that theory since you need to be laying down to get that all-powerful epidural. Poor Buffy, I doubt they have those at the gas station

Author's Response: Well, she 'is' pregnant with the key. They have no respect for human life when it comes to their key (remember Dawn and the general)

Damn... and we thought having a baby was difficult under normal conditions. This really makes "difficult birth" have all kinds of new meanings. Guess its a good thing she's a slayer. Uh oh! A very nice nod to cannon with this whole chapter. Though I have to say, I wanna see the baby, give Buffy the chance to be mommy. But I suppose there are many things we have yet to endure before we get to the happy parenting stage. Beautiful chapter. Please, update soon.
