Yay I'm so glad you updated! "A Glimpse into an Affair"??? LOL That's soooo funny!! I really want to know what Buffy and Spike decide to do...I mean, realistically it would make sense that they break up because a year really is a long time to be apart and they're at that age when you don't want to be tied down. And then their relationship would be so much stronger if they still want to be together after that. But it would be so sweet if they stayed together. Heehee. Can't wait to find out what happens! =)

Oh my goah... im crying. In most fic whne buffy is pregnate they alwasy talk about abortion but this is the fisrt one i've seen where she goes through with it. I like that u didn't shy away from it. I kon alot of people who are so pro-life that whne they even hear the word abortion they get all up set. I'm really glad that u had spike there the whole time... if he wasn't i most likly would of cried harder. im really loving this fic plz update soon

Author's Response: This chapter was sad. I almost didn't write it this way. I was going to bypass the detailed experience but when I sat down to write it I found it to be impossible so I went for it. this was such a sad subjetc matter but you handled it really well in my opinion. poor Buffy. And Spike. When he went in to the room and just sat and cried? so sad.

I thought it would turn a lot of people off but so far I've gotten some good responses. I agree this chapter was sad. It bothered me in some spots so I would just walk away from it and come back. Icky chapter . . . . I mean, I'm pretty much pro choice (for the most part) but as a personal choice I don't think I could ever go through with an abortion, and I'm really squeamish when it comes to reading about it too (or any medical procedure for that matter - it's why I could never be a doctor, lol) . . . . anyway, I still like the story though (as I like all the stories I've read of yours so far). Please update again soon!

Wow...kinda feel like I've been on an emotional rollercoaster in this chapter. Sad, but, unfortunately, a fact of life. Look forward to seeing how they get through this traumatic experience together.

Author's Response: I stopped and started writing this part so many times. At first I wasn't going to actually write about it so descriptively but I found I just couldn't so I went for it. So far no flames so I think I made the right decision. Thanks for the review

Even though abortion seems to be a good idea at the time, I fear this will pose a huge problem in their relationship if they stay together. If they have other children they will remember killing their first. I realize too that if she keeps the baby Spike and Buffy will probably end up separated anyway, what to do? What to do? Perhaps what they need is to go their separate way, mature a little and get back together.

i like this story and all, but it's too upsetting for me right now, i can't read anymore knowing that buffy is getting an abortion and that spike is okay with it, i don't believe in that, sorry, other than that the story is okay, i just need to find something with less angst.

I feel bad because i found this fic and read it right through without leaving any reviews so i hope this extra long one will make up for it :) I know that Cordy is supposed to be her bf so i dont understand why she looked down on buffy so harshly for being with Spike. I know she asked her not to go with him but that wasnt her place, a bf should encourage a friends happiness. I know she's friends with Faith but faith and Spike werent even dating, they where fucking a ton of other people. I hate people who have "open" relationships mutually but then freak out. It doesnt make sense to me. Cordy should have been there for Buffy esp. when she found out what Faitth did at the Doublemeat palace. Im so glad that Spike seems to have changed his ways even though i dont like the whole Dru incident. I feel bad that Buffy is getting an abortion but sometimes (in my opinion of course and im sorry if it offends anyone) its the only thing someone can do. I know someone who 'had' to get one and shes the strongest most wonderful person i know, not a monster like some people think people who have abortions are. This fic is absolutely mind blowing and i cant wait to read the rest once its posted. Im so happy that i found it, you are incredibly talented. BTW its 'nice' to see a fic where she doesnt keep the baby, in most fics it all magically works out evn if they are both too young and not close to ready. Good job, i cant wait to see where this gos and what happens after the abortion in terms of how Buffy handles it seeing that spike is suposed to be leaving!

Yeah, that whole Cordy situation was bad but hopefully they will find their way back to each other again. God, you are so right about those couples and their "open" relationships. They are so full of s**t. The whole abortion thing is delicate and I know some people who have gone through it. Its all so sad. Boy the next chapter. I've already started writing it and I'm finding it a bit difficult but I'll get through it. It may take a while to post it. Thanks again for the wonderful review.
