I love the Spike/Dawn interaction. And if the threads that were dropped are the ones I think they are. Very Cool.

I am loving this story. I am entranced by the many different viewpoints. I love how you have slightly altered individual's reactions to certain events. It is as if they are more in keeping with the characters and the point at where the characters are in their lives. And I adore how you have driven Dawn and Spike closer together due to their mutual grief. Willow's denial of reality and use of manipulation is familiar with what we saw on the show, but I like better how you have decided to not include Tara and Anya in her plan. It always seemed illogical to me that Tara and Anya would agree to go along with Buffy's resurrection. Anya knows the dangers of dark magics and their consequences. And Tara suffered through the grief of losing her mother. Surely she would have recognized Willow's fervent need to resurrect Buffy as a form of denial. I have to say, I am preferring your version of the events post Buffy's death better than how they were presented on BtVS. Please do continue with this story! It is incredibly absorbing and I can't wait to read more!

I love the Willow-Xander scene - Willow's thought process and Xander's complete trust of her was so believeable. I can imagine that if we had seen that scene on the show it would have been fairly similar. And the Spike-Dawn part was so raw and honest. I love that he was strong with her - not sugar coating the truth, but was also caring and tender when she needed it. Also very within character. These chapters were great!!

Great story so far. I love this exploration of the events during the summer after "The Gift" and the alternate path you are going with them. Especially the Spike aspects - I love how you are develing into the emotional and psycholocaigl effects Buffy's death could've had on him and how that could change him. Loved the scene of the Scoobies against the Fang Gang - very powerful and believable. Looking forward to more!
