Oh, it really seems that Buffy is willing now to let Spike near her heart now. That is a good sign / good begin. He's becoming a real friend to her. And hopefully very much more than that. If Buffy lets him. Well - he understands her more than her other friends.

Great Chapter. Great Story. Hopefully this time. Joyce will be saved and not die. Hopefully Buffy will allow spike to help. Maybe he will be there and pick up on the problem before it kills joyce. In a way I don't think that the worries about Joyce are over yet... (I wonder if this Ben is Ben/Glory, too)... But It's good that Spike came back and could comfort Buffy. It's all hard enough for her. And that he knows now about the spell.
