Oh god! We have to witness Spike's dusty death again?! WTF! Wonderful chapter, but I'm just distraut over Spike having to die again. can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!

Author's Response: Well, if you read the chapter...it doesn't say that Spike will actaully die. Buffy hasn't told Spike that he's supposed to die. She said the soul was a gift, nothing more. So, she's planning on wearing it herself.

Author's Response: No...maybe you should go back and read some previous chapters. Spike never went to get his soul in this version, remember? He was about to when the First showed up as Buffy and then Caleb made him evil. So, Spike never went to get his soul here. You'll see why he has it soon enough.

I'm glad things are going to do different. I, for one, hated the end of that episode, where everyone decided that since thay didn't want Buffy there she had to leave. I'm surprised I haven't written a fic yet... . Anyway, go on with your story, I like it a lot.
