I have a draft for what I want to as a review after I skipped the chapter, but to your AN first.
Addie, you are by no means a bad writer! If you were you couldn't make me feel like being on a roller coaster ride with this story. You awake feelings in your readers, you move them! You can make me cry with your stories. That's nothing a bad writer could. Well only a bad writer could make me cry because a story is so bad. ;-) Well but that's not what I mean. You're a good writer! My opinion but I'm not alone with it. Should I found a club *We trust in Addie* or did someone before and I missed my invitation? So, gonna read now and hope to be able to read what I wrote *gg*
Because of the S/other and B/other now when Buffy and Spike were together before the story is very sad for me (means hard to read). So I can't wait to read a new chapter and check it out. But I try to read it properly in order to write a review. It was very late anyway when I saw this and the new chapter and that's not a time when I can write good :)
Like I didn't catch the first time that Dawn is now living with Buffy.
Things are getting harder for Buffy day by day now. Not only Spike is "following her" (his new song gets played very often, the new billboard, his new video playing)... The hardest thing was maybe hearing the interview and Spike say that he is pretty serious with his current girlfriend and they are together now for six month *sob* (not really sobbing now ... but when I first read it... that's what I mean when I say you're a good writer. Not that you make me sad, you make me FEEL for the people in the story. That's a talent.) after getting asked if he wants to marry Eve. Torture for Buffy indeed. But a relieve for her to hear that Spike don't has plans to marry Eve Hart. (I wonder if you have a special ~ real ~ person in your mind for writing that character and if I have guessed the character right.) But when Eve is a bitch like Buffy thinks because she reads it a lot: Why is Spike still together with her then? Buffy should now that not all is true what's written; tabloid fodder. And the song.. does Spike really hate her? Maybe at first sight, on the surface but I refuse to think like Buffy does that he only hates her. If you love so deep there must still be something left. As I read once.. love and hate are only two sides of the same coin. *sniff* I hope I can translate it right.. But back to your story and what I wanted to write: Sadly the statics says that a widower is looking for a new wife very soon but not a widow. Seems Spike is just typical. He moved on. (Still I don't have to like Spike being with Eve *deep sigh* Because I don't.
Addie, I'm not complaining. I love reading your story (but I think you know that). After reading this chapter I thought of it: If Spike would marry Eve wouldn't he invite his real family? That would mean Buffy too. Super awkward for her. (Spike isn't showing he misses her, he ist only bitter. ... if you think of the song: (One I didn't know yet. I have the CDs but I don't have the new DVD.. I hoping for a new CD soon :) ) Spike is still very angry with her. ~ As I said (or not yet), good to see you (read you) again. Loved the chapter and yet I didn't like the Spike/Eve part. Understandable maybe.... I wonder if Spike was in contact with Dawn in these years.. or Dawn with him.. maybe meeting him on the birthdays of Giles? Or Joyce? Or if he saw a counselor in the meantime or if he is still drinking.
I do believe that you write a happy ending, Addie, I didn't forget what you wrote.. I just fall wholly in the chapters when reading.. is there a word limit for a review? There wasn't for adding favorite fics *gg* I'll find out soon. And after that on the next chapter. This draft I have for my review isn't so long like this was.
I don't give up on you, Addie... don't give up on your fans. Trolls aren't fans, trolls are trolls. Ignore them! If that helps... I know it must hurt.

Excellent as always. Re the rude and childish remarks some idiots have made I know that when you are feeling vulnerable they are hard to ignore, but if you can, think of it this way - if your writing were not so good, you wouldn't be able to provoke such reactions. Really good, really REAL writing will get through to people in a way that inferior fluffy-by-numbers will never do. Your name on a fic is always a guarantee of quality. Thank you for your writing.

i thought this chapter was great.
if people think you don't know what it is like to be in a relaitionship they are nuts. you not only have gotten a good grasp of what going through a hard break up is like but have put into words what most can't even say let alone write. anyway addie i do have to point out that you warned everyone that this story was anst filled so if some are complaining then it is their fault you warned them a head of time. one more thing i love you stories but if you feel that you need to take some time to greve then do it i can't speak for all your fans but only for myself and i would think it only natrural.
anyway looking forward to reading the next chapter.

You are evil to leave it there. I can't wait to see the fireworks that happen when they meet again. And despite what some others say, I love the angst. Getting through the crap only makes you stronger in the end. There were so many good lines in this chapter - from hiding behind the garden gnome to the acting like a mature adult who had moved on. Excellent couple of chapters.

Hi Addie - well, I was reading some of the reviews and your AN and I'm just stunned! I can't believe you are getting flames about this or ANY tale you've written, but then I can believe any author should receive flames for their work. don't these people get that for the Fanfic communities this is free entertainment. Sure I love when B & S and just romping in deep sexy loving all the time, but I also enjoy a well written story regardless of if I'm in total agreement with the all of the subject matter in the tale. Yes, this tale is fraught with angst and it's drawn out all their pain and all the things that were wonderful now seem to have swept under the rug and forgotten, but that why this is such a tremendously well written story. Its got meat! Its got bone. Its got one of the best Spuffy fanfic authors of all time writing it. Your writing style is excellent and your story lines are always intense and well thought out and written. I know you've been doing this for awhile and you are probably used to some form of flames or bad reviews, but honestly I have to say it's the same as those narrow minded people who decide what "morally" correct on TV and such - you know the censors?! Well, just like when something you don't like comes on the TV - don't get all self-rightous and angry - just change the channel - so if someone doesn't like what you've written or what any author has written, they need to just Not Read It. Not set about making your life miserable, not to mention they harm the story for both you and your readers. I think all flamers need to take a flying leap and leave you and other authors alone. I'm sorry I'm rambling but, people who can't appreciate a good writer (even if they don't particularly care for the subject matter) are just morons, wastes of skins sucking up air! Ok I'm done being a btich and now.... I loved the updated chapter. The fact that Buffy stopped to actually watch Spike perform after all this time. The fact that she recoginzed the lyrics were directed at her. The fact that Spike wrote the song at all and has realeased it on a NEW album shows just how much they still mean to each other. I thing this chapter was painfully beautiful in its simple longing. You have a tremendous talent for story telling (especially Spuffy) and I for one thank you for your generosity in sharing it with the Spuffy community. I would love to read more. OMG!!!!! i cant believe they are going to see each other after 3 years. i LOVE this story and am so happy u updated. im so angry that buffys bringing robin, now spikes going to think shes moved on wen she hasnt. i really wish that they would just talk and that she would explain to spike why she left in the first place and that they work things through. i also really hope that they both dont try to say that theyre over each other and that theyre fine. please update as soon as u can, im dying to read more and see wat happens next. thanx

I'm so sorry to hear that you have been getting mean emails about you and your story. That is just childish and pathetic. Don't let people like that get to you. You are an excellent writer, just look at all the GOOD reviews you get. I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I love this story and would love to keep reading, but if you need a break it's understandable. Not all of us are immature like those that flame you. Take care of yourself and I wish you the best.

Well now I'm dying to know how this is all going to go down. When I reviewed the last chapter, I kept wanting to ask when Buffy and Spike would see each other again, but I refrained, knowing that this chapter potentially held the answer, and now I have it.

That being said, I can't wait to see how he reacts to Robin, and a big thank you for not dragging Eve into the mix (unless she's going to be a surprise guest, in which case I rescind that thanks). I wonder if Spike is prepared to see Buffy, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. This party is going to be very interesting in more than one way (I've been wondering how Jovce and Giles felt about Spike and Buffy splitting up). And my real burning question is, when will Spike and Buffy really get the chance to talk about what split them up, namely, Quentin Travers' role in going to speak to Buffy? Thank you again for all your hard work. I enjoyed this chapter.
