Spike obviously doesn't know what he wants (or he does, but doesn't think himiself worthey of her) Hopefully he will come to his senses soon, as per the first chapter, there is a little one on the way (probably because of this most recent encounter) That's what happens when you have sex....you produce babies....at my age, they are considered beautiful and god given....at my sister's age....little bitchy versions of herself and a huge nuisance...blah....Write more! Prove all Spuffy haters wrong (in the long run...as they do have a certain amount of angst to go thru.....don't we all?)

One more thing, having lost somebody myself, I can understand Buffy's reaction. When feeling loss and despondency, you don't want to bring your loved ones down with you, thus the shutting out. At least I hope I interpreted right!

Author's Response: You interpreted perfectly. I was trying to get that point across. You don't want to be around anybody, but at the same time you don't want to be alone either, it's a very confusing thing.

That was so bitter-sweet it brought tears to my eyes. That hurt to read. Poor Buffy! This is such a good story, I don't think updates can happen fast enough since I am so anxious to know what is going to happen!

Love the story, annoyed with Buffy though. She blows the guy off for months then he makes it easier for her and walks away and she avoids him confirming his belief that she wanted to end it. Then tells Giles she's pregnant but that "He doesn't want me". UGH Sorry really good story just after so many years of BtVS Victim/never taking responsability Buffy still annoys me. Love it though

I don't get him at all. He seemed totally cool and then Buffy's mom dies, she gets depressed and doesn't call him for a while, and he turns into a totally mean ass. What's up with him? Why can't he cut her some slack? Good story.

Author's Response: I know it seems that way, but you have to remember that Spike didn't know she was depressed. He just thought she was blowing him off and trust became a big issue. He's just not ready to forget. Thanks for reading!

That last chapter was just so heartbreaking. I probably read the prologue 3 or 4 times just to try and figure out what happened. Now that I know, it's even more sad! Loving the story! Can't wait for the sweet resolution.

Ouch! As one who has been through depression, I totally understand why she has no answers for him....and I agree with the like "it's just the alcohol talking!"...had he thought it through, he would have been a little more thoughtful, even if he was still upset at being shut out. Well written! am looking forward to more....Soon!

Author's Response: I agree. This story is semi-autobiographical, so this chapter hit close to home and was not easy to write. I tried to include true elements and feelings. Thanks for reviewing!
