I like that you used some of James' own songs and I could see Spike writing Dangerous about Fred

I'm really curious about Buffy and Angel... how does she feel about him exactly? She sure does have a lot of free time so I wonder if they are serious or not. Silly woman should open her eyes and see the sweetness and hotness wrapped in one Spike shaped package. He sure wouldn't say no to her advances. ;) Loved the chapter!!!

Author's Response: Angel works too much. He does this, in part, because he is trying to build a life for both himself and Buffy. But it means that he is away a lot. She is definitely starting to feel something for Spike, but she's been with Angel for a long time. It will take her a little while to come to terms with her change of heart. :) I hope you'll stick around.

Enjoy your Summer Science Days with the students.. Those are always less hectic and more enjoyable than the regular sessions.
Poor Spike.. Rock Star and Gentleman wrapped in a very nice package.
Waiting to see what happens with Angel.. and their breaking point.

Author's Response: It is a busy summer camp so I can't say it isn't hectic. :) It is a lot more fun than a traditional classroom though. I'm glad you are enjoying Spike! He is a great guy. Buffy is already noticing.

Zombie Crawl! They had one in in San Francisco and I missed it. This chapter was such a joy to read. I love the connection between Buffy and Spike and how Spike is really bringing Buffy out of her shell or rather opening her up to new and fun things.

Author's Response: I've been wanting to go to one for years now. The closest I've come is seeing the zombie march at Dragon Con. Zombies are hilarious en masse.

I love the slow build-up and progression of this spuffy story. Look forward to Buffy having a hard time choosing between a long-time bf who is actually really sweet and in love with her and the exciting new man with whom there is undeniable sparkage. Great triangle, in other words.

yep, that brief moment of meeting angel is enough to make me not like him. typical man stuck in the 50's, thinks a girl needs to be taken care of all the time, and i can't stand the way he talks to her like she's a child. spike is a much better fit, but we all knew that. hopefully it won't take buffy long to realize it.

Spike is just too much fun. I love him Rick Rolling Lorne, and that Willow called to prank him with NKOtB guitar lessons, and then called back to appologize. Such an amusing idea. I like how much fun Spike seems to be, compared to how totally boring Angel is. Hope she comes around. Otherwise, those two boys are gonna end up meeting, and I don't think Angel would enjoy a random guy showing his girl a good time. Update soon!

You are making me feel sorry for Angel.. working so hard to be the man that Buffy deserves. Yet they have problems.. waiting to see what they are.

Angel does not seem to be a jerk. However, it is quite clear that she is much more lighthearted around Spike. I don't want Spike to get hurt. Here's hoping that Angel meets someone else. Love your story. Spike and Buffy are fun to read.

Oh Dawn! College kids have so much passion and energy to do that sort of stuff. We had a group of kids we used to called "Trustifarians" (trust fund rich kids living the hippy lifestyle). Spike is just too cute in this story. I love how he slowly but surely working his way into her iife. I'm curious as to how she interacts with Angel.

I love this Dawn, and how disappointed she is that Buffy and Angel didn't break up. I can't imagine Angel being too big a fan of Spike. Awesome, and not at all boring. Update soon!

Dawn's skirmish with the authorities.. reminds me of the Joni Mitchell song- Big Yellow Taxi- "paved paradise to put up a parking lot.. " her inspiration was from a trip to Hawaii it seems.
Nice relaxed atmosphere so far - Getting to Know You .. Waiting for the Angel encounter. Its going too nicely.

LOOOOVED this. :) 'When did you break up with Angel?' indeed. lol I like how you chose to portray Dawn here, sounds like something she'd definitely do when at uni. And twenty questions between Buffy and Spike was just too darn cute. Neither really delving deeper but I bet that if there had been alcohol involved, questions would ahve been totally different. ;) Thi cracked me up... "Not–that’s not–I absolutely respect women without pants.” LMAO

Hurray for the mention of the Kevin Bacon game! This story is getting better and better, I love how the relationships are unfolding. I like that he's going to give her a musical education, that's such a thing guys do when they like a girl. My husband used to quiz me on band names when we'd listen to the radio so I'd always say, The Beatles, just to make him mad.
