Yay Buffy being ready to sacrifice her looks and trusting William to still love her for her.

Yay Aphrodite for being nice--unless the task stinks. Hmmm...

Awww!

It's funny how in these circumstances I find it tragic that William will remember while Buffy won't, yet in AtS I was incredibly pissed off that Angel got to remember while Buffy didn't. I guess it's all about choices and priorities, huh?

Lllllllllllllllloved this, even though William's pain breaks my heart!

I hate that I have to stop reading for a few, but dogs need to eat. Sigh.

Brilliant story and I can't wait to sit down and read the next chapter!

"Aphrodite tended to dress people as she would prefer to see them. He was somewhat surprised to still be wearing pants." I know things were scary for William, but I giggled at that :D

That last line was beautiful, and YAY! Buffy loves him too!!!

All the characters you've written that I've read here so far are really in character, but especially this:
"She stopped in the doorway and looked back at him over her shoulder. “I just want to make it clear that if I didn’t like the dress, I wouldn’t wear it.”

and this:

"She hated bullies; she couldn’t let the crowd tease him. If necessary she’d deal with it high school style."

Are so VERY Buffy, I think I squealed with delight.

Poor William loves her so much, he didn't let her fail the test. I just wanna squish him!

Ohhh, I'm intrigued, and I (obviously) want her to choose William, but I feel for her not wanting to give up her life. Argh!

That seems to have gone well. So glad she's trying to make things work for all. How terrifying is it to think that she would be stuck back in her real life, always feeling that something was missing, and never knowing what it was. Or that William would spend all eternity missing her... So amazingly sad. Glad to see there may be a brighter solution. And good going to thing that she kind of impressed Aphrodite. Update soon.

This is a wonderful story, I am enjoying using the myths as background. You can play with the characters more, making them deeper in emotion. That is the best!

She loves him, and she knows it, and I just can't believe that she believes that she is saving either one of them angst by not saying anything. They're on day what, 5? I do not see her making it another 25 days without slipping up. Unless they stay on complete opposite sides of the underworld, there is no chance of them avoiding a lip lock. And I'm not sure that Buffy will regret it when it happens. Update soon!
