Great start to the story so far! I know we're having to wade through all the "backstory" but that is what adds depth to stories and this one looks promising. Looking forward to reading more!

I love stories that are slow-going. Builds more suspense when Spike's not in the picture yet, and it allows Buffy to grow into her own character more. So liking the direction this is taking so far. This seems like an ensemble fic, which I love. Will you be updatinig your incomplete fics? Coz I don't want to start reading them then get stuck on a WIP... just wondering. Actually, I'll probably read them anyway, but still. Anyway, I'm pretty intrigued by the story so far. Plus it seems like an ensemble fic, with Giles and Willow and all, which I love. Looking forward to more. Longer chapter, please?

Don't be scared. This story is intriguing, I'd be interested in learning a little bit about her educational background and her calling to this type of work.
Also, minor typo toward the end of the story. The name Buffy has a space between the Buff and the y.

At first I thought that Buffy was going to be part of the Initiative (boo....hiss...and Forrest always was just a big old creep) so was delighted to see that the plot is going to be somewhat different. Very interesting start and I look forward to seeing more.
