Not Tonight, Honey:
Great story! I like the way it slides into the canon. Spike remembers their "anniversary"--Slayer-fixated already, and not in his usual way. Another Joyce meeting that plausibly furthers their relationship. And Joyce herself: *this* is the woman who took an axe to a vamp! "Because you're a gentleman... and I'm armed." Just the sort of approach Spike would respect. My, my, but you do manage to do a lot in only 999 words!

Taming the Devil:
Wow! I didn't see this coming. This one isn't canon at all--and I love it. This story makes me feel optimistic, even about Seasons 6 & 7, which is really saying something. Yes, it could have all gone differently! I believe it! I do!

This Schmoop Bingo thing is so great. The two fics togehter are utterly delightful. drunk!Spike asking Joyce if the Slayer can come out to fight is so cute. I loved it even more that it was their "anniversary" and Joyce sat on the porch with a water gun full of Holy water. Utterly Awesome.

Part 2 is a fluffy little extension of a happily ever after that only works well in fan fics. I loved it how sweet it was...and what would Kathy, the demon roommate say if she saw Buffy (because Buffy does NOT hate Willow.).
