I really really loved this. It was all so bitter sweet but filled with horrid realism and sadness and truth and wasted time. Very very good. It makes my heart ache to read it. I think the epilogue went a bit fast for me. I would like to have seen them happier for a little bit longer. Maybe an Epilogue to the Epilogue?

I heard this song today and thought of your story -I was *hoping* that when I got home, it would be updated. :-) I've been reading it from the beginning and I absolutely loved every chapter (well, except for the last one - how could you leave me hanging like that?) and I'm so glad it ended the way it did. Wonderful! Can't wait to read what ever else you write. :-)

What a sad chapter. I hope they can find a way back to each other. The words teh grandmother used to describe first loves was so beautiful and poetic. That was by far the best part! This story is so awesome. I wish it would never end. Great job and thanks.

So this is my first review of this fic, although I've been a loyal reader from the first chapter. This was so sad. Logically you know that summer romances are just that, for the summer, but when he was going to be in LA, I thought that it would be OK. I've never heard the song, so I can just speculate that it's not a happy one. I hope that there will be a reunion of some sort, even if it's a closure prompting one. I hope you update soon.

So sad! I understand why Spike chose to stay with his granfather but can't he at least keep writing? I hope they reunite soon! Love the story and can't wait for more! :)
