I started to re-watch my Buffy DVDs lately (have to continue soon) so I'm glad I saw the episode lately, I knew what you were talking of.
Buffy noticed it in time this time - it's definitely better to have a boyfriend that is supernatural (especially when you're supernatural on your own) *g*.

Author's Response: Oh, God, is it hard to follow? I wanted to avoid re-writing loads of dialogue from ep.s, on the grounds that we all know what happened but now I'll start putting which ep.s I'm covering per chapter. Obviously, anything which involves Angel or Faith, is going to be different or not happen and we're heading towards a major change... So glad people are still reading. Thank you.

I am really loving this story.

I love Buffy telling Spike about some of the events in her life and his reactions. I love how easy they are able to converse.

You did a great job of capturing both of them. I liked how you explained the lore and how Buffy is beginning to question the things she has been taught.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I always felt that Buffy would be happier if she hadn't got involved with Angel. Having the first person she sleeps with turn evil and start to kill her friends, really shakes a girl's confidence!! No wonder she made such bad choices, man-wise, after that. Then, when she finally finds the man who will love and respect her forever, she rejects him. I wanted a reality where she gets together with Spike and everything goes right. Well not quite everything, coz where's the fun...? Stay tuned for major trauma in the future...

Ah I wondered why we were back to Acathla. So it was only a bad dream.
Mmmm interesting, Spike could hear Buffy 'calling' for him for help? Doesn't seem to be a coincidence. Good, Joyce seem to be accepting Buffy with Spike. :)

Author's Response: That's a thought, it's exotic and girly, so why not? Course if Angel managed to save her AND Ricky, she would have to stick with Lily. Changing your name after your boyfriend gets it on a tattoo, is SUCH bad manners!!

I wondered what happened when Dru had Buffy in her thrall and Acathla was about to open.
Didn't hope for Spike to be there in time.

I love the picture of Drusilla seeing Buffy and Spike kiss from the shadows... Wondering what happened to the idiotic Angel, if he just let the murdering and insane vampiress go or if he's joined the plot, and if Drusilla has any ulterior motives than just sucking the world into hell. Great build-up. I can't wait to see th big confrontation.
