I just loved this chapter! It totally brought a smile to my face. And I adore sweet not-so-virginal William. I do like POV from Buffy, it adds a bit of mystery of what's going on in his head. Can't wait for the next chapter. :-)

No begging required - loved it. I like the mix of shy and aggressive. The comment of his knowing how just not doing it was great. There are actually so many things I liked in this chapter to write. I'm just a little concern about the morning after.

Oh William, what an emotional roller coaster for him this chapter. Poor guy. I was glad that Buffy was so honest and unfiltered here and how she recognized that any kinds of games aren't necessary with William. I look forward to what will come next

I hate it when words mess up something they both want I'm glad for the most part she was able to verbalize her want unfiltered. Part of me can see them going at it like bunnies and part of me can see a cooling off and taking things slower with the way you had him freeze at the reminder. I am curious if Maggie the cat is Abigail. A side note but if she is did she have something to do with the extra courage of William coming over.

I don't know why it took me so long to notice this story, but now that I have, I eagerly sat and read all 8 chapters at once. I love shy William; as much as I love Spike, William was always a part of him and I love seeing it in this story. The first person angle works great here, too. Now that greedy little me got to read 8 chapters at once, I'm going to be really impatient for the next chapter. :)

Ah, and it was going so well! It was funny and perfect and not sudden reversal of a personality to allow for real confidence or certainty. They wanted each other but they were still being so sweet and then, HE FREEZES? What's going to happen? I hope it isn't some horrible, dark secret and he'll suddenly run out in shame while Buffy feels awful and he feels awful and we have to deal with their avoidance for a couple chapters.
Can't wait to read more.
