I hope Willow isn't coming in to do some Spike bashing and be all opinionated and try to convince Buffy not to have a relationship wit Spike. Can't wait to see what happens next . The Harmony episode was icccky and i'm glad he stopped..I agree with your ststement to a fellow reviewer , yes he cheated on Dru but it doesn't mean he will on Buffy, this chapter clearly showed that. This is terrific writing, i know when a fic tee's me off as much as this one, it's good. Just don't let a few negative reviews convince u otherwise . Your doin good kid.

Spike has woken up in a completely different place from Buffy. Is she mortified that she lost her virginity to her "brother," or are there birth control issues that were never thought of? I wish I had tome to find out right this minute.

They're finally opening up to one another and it's making for an emotional and believable exchange. Spike giving in and kissing her again feels like a new beginning. Here's hoping they actually talk about their real feelings after such an honest exchange.

I'm glad Buffy has Willow to talk to. Can't wait for more!

Poor Spike, this is just more fuel for the fire. It did seem awfully convenient for Buffy to forget to lock the bathroom door and leave her bedroom door ajar. It all made for a vivid, erotic scene.

Excellent, believable dialogue in this chapter. I like how this Buffy isn't avoiding the issue. They're attracted to one another, but there's a big level of wrong having been raised as brother and sister. Spike has also just come out of his forst long term relationship. It's all a delicious mine field.

They're finding their feet in this reworking of their old relationship and it's making for a vivid, entertaining read. Spike is right to have regrets over the distance between them, but a new relationship couldn't be built without it.

I'm enjoying the set up and the meaty back story already. Spike drifting off after hooking up with Dru is believable and it's given him and Buffy some space in their step sibling relationship. It's lovely that the two have had an excellent relationship role model in their parents' second marriage, too.

Wow. Def intense. I really like this story though. Maybe I'm wacky b/c I like the intense & angsty ones, but that's me. Maybe its because I can relate to them a little more because they seem more real. At any rate, I love the story & your writing. Keep it up!

Author's Response: Lol I'm wacky that way too I like to read and write the angsty ones, probably for the same reasons...I do think its more realistic, and theres something about the seperation that makes the coming together all the more worth it for me...

I was loving this story. Until this story became another one of those stories where let us make Spike the biggest jerk. Let us make Buffy the most innocent sweetest girl there is. Let us women complain about what jerks men are and that women can't ever do wrong to a guy. A woman is always an innocent in a relationship. Which we know isn't true. Wasn't it Buffy who used Spike and beat the crap out of him because she just wanted to feel. I don't know if I will continue reading this. But I hate stories like this where they make Spike the biggest jerk while Buffy is this sweet innocent girl. Spike having to beg for and earn forgiveness from Buffy. I have seen that enough times on the show and too many times in fanfiction as well. While Buffy didn't ever seen like she felt that bad for the things she did to Spike on the show. I don't know if I will continue this.

Author's Response: To be honest I don't think Spike is the biggest jerk...I mean on Buffy he was a vampire it was in his nature, and I just wanted to use the character he has on the show whilst having an all human story...whereas my Buffy is NOT the buffy from the series...you obviously have issues with what joss wrote, many do, but this is my story and has nothing to do with the storyline of Buffy the Vampire Slayer it just cheekily nicks characters....you can't be angry at my story for something that happened in the TV series...Spike's gonna beg for forgiveness from Buffy, but in this story he's more to blame (they both have done wrong, but Spike more so) I appreciate your comment, I just don't share any of your views, and like I said I'd rather lose readers than write sweet couple stories, thats just not MY nature...

Nice to see this back...oof! that packed a wallop...I liked the way spike was crossing out words and replacing them, which reveals more actually, especially the last part with the brother..oh brother!
