I love their tentative feelings and how they talk to each other. I'm glad Spike made the first move and they both admitted they are scared. But Spike is right, there'll always be something. They have to find their happiness while they can. Too bad S7 didn't go like this. This is a logical step in their relationship, and I love how you're writing it.. :)

Great update, I'll be here for the next one and for "Promised" cause I love both stories. =)

Buffy is still quick to run away. Even if it didn't last long she is still weary. But not giving up, I'm glad for that. Spike is right, there will always be something that waits to be done (another mission). And they don't know what the future will bring them. I'm glad Buffy is aware of that now.

What a lovely chapter, I loved Buffy listening to Spike..he really needed that. Poor Spike, always looking for love. He loved his mom so much and felt so guilty about what he did to her. :( Hopefully the First won't have so much control over him now.

Loved their talk. And maybe Buffy did even make up for calling Spike beneath her. I think she could reassure him now that his mother loved him.

On a less demanding note, I always love when authors examine the humaness of characters, so I applaud Buffy's embarassment and the first using bathroom time as an opportunity to take over everyone's favorite bleach-blonde vamp.

Oh the first part was so sweet,and the kiss got pretty hot. Then poor Spike got triggered by the First.*eep* I'm glad B knows what the trigger is and Spike is going to tell her everything, hopefully things will work out better now and Wood won't try to kill Spike.
