The important thing is that he wants her there, and the fact that she's not already gone means she's likely to stay... or at least that's how it plays out in my head. I really like this universe, a world that we didn't get to explore to death already. Thanks for this story, and I do hope you continue some day with this world.

Can't say I'm a fan of cliffhanger endings, but DAMN that was hot! And I am greatly looking forward to reading more in this 'verse; truly an inspired idea. As always, great job!

This was erotic and a lot more emotional than the first chapter. I liked that you left the ending ambiguous. There was a depth of connection between these two, but Buffy believably could go either way. This Spike is still Grade A evil. It would be difficult for the slayer to go along with him.

You're doing an excellent job balancing the sadness of Buffy's situation with Spike's slapstick efforts to pull her out of her paranoia and just accept she's the slayer. She may not suck as bad as the slayer who got hit by a train, but she still sucks...You've taken this premise and run with it. It's making me laugh.

Well, I won't say I'm not disappointed to not know how it's going to end, but at the same time, I love the way it turned out. Any angry emails you get, you send them a British salute, compliments of Spike. Heh.

This was really interesting! It hit several kinks I'm not even sure I knew I had: early Spike reluctantly helping the Slayer, her moral ambiguity in letting him, and Spike getting the feeling that he's going to be in over his head with her. Being a Spuffy romantic, I've decided that they stay together and compromise and go to Sunnydale and piss off Angel. But if you want to write a sequel, I won't be complaining!

I think it has a satisfying end. I like a touch of ambiguity...it's very Spuffy.
I was surprised by how believable the whole thing felt-generally fics that center upon an earlier meeting of the characters either have them echo what took place on the show or simply feel ooc but this one really worked. Thanks for sharing.

Had me in thrall from beginning to end. Your Spike is spot-on for earlier canon and I just love you taking Buffy from the nuthouse and having her head cleared and her body healed (!) by a vampire. Their relationship sparks and the ending is just right. Loved it.

HOT! And you've kept him 'evil' too, well done for not turning him sappy immediately, 'cos that wouldn't have felt right. So we're supposed to imagine Buffy's decision and the consequences? I can go with that... except... I'd really like to find out whether she ends up in Sunnydale after all and if so whether Spike goes too and what happens when Angel turns up...
GET WRITING THAT SEQUEL PLEASE!!!!!! No pressure, you understand...
