I can't begin to imagine how Buffy must have felt seeing the love of her life almost die again. Good thing she didn't let panic get the best of her, and managed to signal for help!
I only hope Spike realized how much she cares for him in his half conscious state (even though I'm sure he won't accept she loves him for a while).

Wow, how very sad. I'm crying right now. For anyone who thinks being dead is the best option is so sad. That life is very bad for them or they are so depressed that life is not worth living. Is beyond sad.
