But doesn't he realized that freedom is exactly what their trying to give him, having grown up around a addict alcoholic(older brother) I know first hand how such a thing can destroy a family not to mention the individual , and the lengths that that individual will go to to get what they need, it's sad . I myself am addicted to those Goddamned , suck the life out of you cigarettes which i have unsuccessfully tried to get off of,Yeah right) but putting Spike in a cage seems a bit much , no? I feel so sorry for him , but for once I have nothing bad to say about Angel, he's being a real good boy in this fic, update again soon and did you take pictures of JM? where are they , give them here Ms. Mabel.

I feel so sorry for Spike, he has been tortured pretty badly. But now he is with Buffy who loves him. Definitely better help fighting the addiction than Lindsay Lohan ;-)

Disturbing chapter. (I was right about Brad saving Spike in the nick of time though.) Good on me! :)
Liked the progression of the rescue. I will be interested to see how Spike deals with the issues of his helplessness during the ordeal and especially during this chapter. Spike's pride vs. being forced to submit in front of his loved ones during this chapter is what made it so disturbing to me (almost like a rape scene). Sometimes I think too much....

The collar scene - especially the part about leaving the mug outside the door - was truly "bent". I liked it! :) hee hee The oil and Spike getting "demonhandled" and pre-customized was all good for a pre-rescue. I'm glad you didn't prolong the agony by having the Polgara demon win Spike or anything though - or at least I'm hoping you don't!
(And I always always mean *evil* as a compliment!)

Good chapter! Oh, no, you went and broke his favorite TOY!!! It should be helpful for Spike, if Moira's to be around, while he's detoxing and all Happy upcoming Birthday, and WOW! What better way to spend it than at a JM concert/show and a con!!! Lucky you! I'm sooooo jealous! You're definitely forgiven and excused, but just for this once!!! Have a GREAT time! Great chapter. Poor Spike. It just never ends for him. It is going to be so rough on him on trying to get off the drugs/blood.

You are going to see James Marsters. I'm so jealous of you. What a wonderful birthday that is going to be for you. I noticed that you are posting this story at the MoreThanSpike board. Ok, now I've been catching up, although I have to admit I skipped a couple of chapters that seemed too angsty for my poor heart to handle. *lol* But from now on, I won't miss a single chapter of this story. :) I really loved this last chapter, so happy they got rid of that damn collar. The only thing i'm sorry for is you didn't describe in detail what she did to Nemol, but Carol might have gotten squicked reading that , who by the way is doing a fantastic beta job .
