Such a great chapter. Yes, he looks like a vampire, but people only see what they want to see. And, all they want to see when it comes to him, is the fact that he's sexy as all hell. I need more Spike/Buffy enteraction though! Love the story dear!

Way to go for Buffy avoiding the mentioning SPike to Geil - can he be any more gullible? LOL. Loved the Bronze scene and the snarky comments about Spike looking like a vampire. She loved that dance, there's no way she wasn't affected by THAT closeness, hell I'd be grinding up against him. The mirror comment was hilarious - snickers. Lovely chapter darling - can't wait for the next update - need some Spike/Buffy interaction. What's it gonna take for the vamp to admit she''s more than just a job - a whack upside the noggin or his Slayer getting hurt. Ughh, I love UST, it's a bittersweet thing, giggles. Hugs and kisses.

Author's Response: Well, Giles would hardly expect that Buffy would have Spike along, lol. As for the dance, the grinding is coming, I assure you. :) And they'll be getting a bit closer before that as well. As for Spike admitting she's more than just a job--well, the next chapter has some Spike thoughts, though it will be a bit longer before he actually *admits* such to her. Thanks for reviewing!

I'm sorry I did not review each chapter, but the story was so amazing that I just jumped from chapter to chapter. You have such a gift for the character's voices and your innovative twist just kept me riveted. Seriously, it's amazing and I can't wait to read more!

Loved the first confrontation between the 4 of them. I loved seeing Angelus so surprised Spike was on Buffy's side. I can't wait to read where it'll all play out from here. :D More, please?

I'm sorry, I fell behind with reading, but here I am again. I loved the chapter, the fighting, the soaking while reflecting, the following her while she goes out with Willow. I just love the interaction between Spike and Buffy, it does make sense that he doesn't let her easy on the fighting, since the ones she'd fight definitely won't. Off to read more!

Seriously loved Buffy's first encounter with Angelus and Dru, and loved-loved-LOVED Spike's confrontation with Angelus! Good to see the vamps may be a bit worried, and yay for Spike not denying what Dru said about him and the Slayer!

Oooh love it, as always. Loved the bickering over the killing of slayers, ah boys and their machismo. Silly Buffy all pouty that there wasn't a big fight off the bat yet. Great, great set up in this chapter, can't wait for the final confrontation, and of course, for the eventual Spuffy. But I'm patient, I can definitely wait. Loved it, great job!

Well, now that all my houseguests are gone, I'm finally able to catch up on all the reading I've missed over the last week and a half. Gotta say, I enjoyed this chapter very much. Angelus planning, Darla indifferent, Dru crazy yet with insight. And Spike of course had his reasons for not letting Buffy get into it with Angelus and somehow I think it has a lot to do with timing as well as training her further. Still loving this story sweety, can't wait for the next chapter. Hugs and kisses.

Well when Buffy expects to meet Angelus and Dru on patrol I really hope Spike will join her so she doesn't have to fact them alone.
