Great chapter, as always! I'm glad that Joyce knows about the slaying, and that she took it well... or al least it seems she did. I also like this side of Buffy, so hopefully she won't be a super bitch when Spike tells her how he feels.

Awww, she got him something for Christmas (and getting him cigarettes was really thoughtful, I have been couch-bound for 3 days now and have begged my entire family to go get me some smokes but to no avail! Thank God my best friend brought me some!--- end of rant)

Enjoyed the chapter. Looks like S and B are getting along :) Wonders though if the people in SunnyD really would regognize a vamp, they often seem to be both deaf and blind ;)

As the chapters go by, your grip on the characters get stronger and stronger. I loved their bantering in this chapter:

“And ooh--decorating tip, mirrors make a room look bigger.”

“Ha bloody ha.”

Hee.

You also have the voices down pat for Willow and Xander. I liked how Buffy and Willow were trying to find a girl for Xander. Little things like that in a story always make it more enjoyable. Great work!!

So....when are Buffy and Spike going to hook up again? :)

Author's Response: You know, I wondered, if the gem would allow a vampire to be seen in a mirror, or allow them to enter without invitations. But neither Spike nor Angel had it long enough for us to find out. So I just went with the sunlight thing. Thanks for reading!
