Quite sexual.. yet not.. but definitely HOT...

Although I know its not a mother/child relationship his actions remind me of a young kitten nursing on its mother for sustenance... But for Spike it is his way of being able to "touch" her other than the impersonal teaching of fighting techniques.. And if Buffy didn't want this somewhat sexual encounter she could have a pint ready from a cut or ?

OMG Spike's admitted to himself and to Buffy that he would choose the "chosen one" (sorry couldn't resist). Please make sure she goes back to him after. I don't think it's just the blood he's after. So sorry to hear you're having computer problems. Mine was taken away for 2 days last week and I was climbing the walls - serious withdrawal - and I don't write!!! Will be watching for an update when you can. Loved it.

Author's Response: Inspiration can strike anywhere, anytime! :) Well, some people like writing in order, others like to skip around. I didn't intend to start skipping around, but it was more like I'd be a few chapters ahead, and would want to start writing something else. And even though I'd had notes and such jotted down, I found myself sitting around and writing the more "fun" scenes for, well, fun. Stuff I wanted to see "happen" that was nowhere near happening yet. Mostly pivotal parts or Spike and Buffy parts, though I do start writing scenes waaay in advance that I know it will take me a long time to get right. Right now I've got about 12,000 words that happen at some point in the fic's future. Makes for quick chapters when I get there, though, since I just have to connect the pieces.

Awesome chapter sweets. Seems like SPike is finally coming around to admitting his feelings - even though he's drunk, but then drunks tend to tell the truth too, now don't they, giggles. I'm so sorry you're having laptop issues hon - hope everything works out alright. Can't wait for the next update. Gotta say, I'm in much need of some spuffy tender luvin moments here, *grins*. Yes, Spike's feelings are coming out, and he and Buffy are getting closer...but two steps forward, one step back, don't ya know? :) As for the laptop thing, it's something this particular laptop has done before, so it shouldn't be too much trouble to get it fixed.
