Great chapter. This story is definitely one of my favorite WIP's.
I'm happy that Buffy is deciding to give her and Spike a chance, not that I blame her for having her doubts. But there's no way I could blame her for giving in either ;)
You write Spike and Buffy -so- well together. Love it! Can't wait to read more :)

So Buffy is going through with her decision, to enjoy the 'now'. Hopefully on their way together they can solve the 'later' issues. Spike showed with his answer to the phone call that he has made his decision already. He's for Buffy, not against.

Over a few short moments, in just the one place, these two have covered oceans and oceans of time and space in the development of ....... them. Their relationship. What they said to each other was economical, but to the point. Neither needed that much clarification for the other, because he knew and certainly Buffy knew, that they were on the same wavelength. She was brave because she was the first to speak of their 'connection', and Spike, over the weeks, has been brave in defying his nature and the pull of family to be by her side. It is almost as if this gradual acclimatisation, for both of them, has given them a very, very strong base from which to start.
His arm around her, her leaning into him and their walking out together.
You did this chapter so well.

Uh-oh...prophecy in the near future. Something to do with Spike too? Or is it dooms day?
So Buffy is giving in to temptation and forgetting for the moment about Spike's morals...so not going to work. Down the road she'll want it all. We know Spike doesn't care about her hating the desire to kill...you'd think that he want to change his ways for love. Has Dru made him so bitter that he wouldn't do anything for love anymore?
Author's Response: No, the prophecy is not dooms day, but as for the rest, you'll have to wait and see. :) As for Spike being bitter, not really, I don't think. It's just that to him, to stop killing is not something he can do just because she asks. Killing is not something he thinks about as wrong. It's going to take some more time before he's willing to give it up for her. Thanks for reviewing!

I just got caught up on ll your updates and wow sweety, can I say you have the emotions flowing quite well. Spike is simply amazing here in the things he's said and poor Buffy, thinking she can't help but fall for him and suffer the heart break later when it comes time. It looks bleak for them right now, but of course I trust your ability to make it a sweet spuffy ending. Boy I really feel for these two. Wonderful chapters hon, keep up the good work and looking forward to the next update. Huggles.

Absolutely love the fact that Buffy is aware of Spike's feelings towards her and is accepting of both them and her feelings towards him. I suppose there is little point in her planning out her future because as The Slayer she may not have one! Loved every word - as always.
Author's Response: Well, Buffy doesn't like to think about the future she may not have. Finding out about her expiration date was one of the things that went into her hiring Spike to teach her to fight. Though there may be something down the road about her future as the Slayer... Enjoyed Buffy's talk with Cordelia (that was fun).
Awe, Buffy did some thinking and had and epiphany. Cordelia really got her thinking about her situation.
