I have to tell ya, I love this fic. I've been with you from the beginning. I had some problems logging into my account for a while. Couple that with my laziness and I haven't reviewed like I should have.
Anyways, I love this premise - it's different and fun. Every chapter leaves me craving for more.
I love how you write Buffy & Spike. I've read so many stories where they are just over-the-top emotionally. But here...I dunno, their relationship, the things they say, the way they act. Everything is completely believable. Thank you so much for sharing. Looking forward to more.

As for not being over the top, I always liked doing the little things. How characters act around each other, or say things offhand to show how they feel, letting them build slowly to something. (Gah! SQUEE - he gave a key to his place... can't wait to see when and why she'll use the first time. Okay, pulling my mind out of the gutter so I can reivew now, lol. I love all the sparring they did, how nonchalent Spike is about his abiities. And then he had to do the sexiest thing EVER... keep making remarks about her hair, playing with it, stroking it... sighs - he's smitten. I was glad to see Buffy didn't get too upset when they talked about his past and the other two slayers. Too often in fanfic, she gets all bent out of shape, and while I understand that - its refreshing to see a Buffy who accepts it because hey, vampire here. So bravo, I loved it as I did the entire chapter sweety. Huggles.
Author's Response: Hmm, well Buffy might not actually be using the key until they have a fight. A really big fight... And I'll leave you wondering. :) Glad you liked the sparring and Spike playing with her hair. As for Buffy not being upset about the Slayers, well she's had a different relationship with this Spike than canon Buffy. As well as the fact that there doesn't seem to be any reason to single out the Slayer deaths as special, out of all the people he's killed, since her being the Slayer hasn't put her in danger from him. (And the whole 'all the people he's killed' thing will come up again). I guess in this chapter, it's sort of like a less harsh FFL. She wants to be a better Slayer, so she's asking about the Slayers he's taken out. Anyway, glad you liked the chapter, and thanks for reviewing!

Haven't reviewed in a while but wanted to say I have been watching and waiting. Loving the first part but hating the second. I am saving the drabbles for when you are finished. I will do a full read through. A question though how many more chapters are you planning for now. I know you had originally said 60, but then that went of the wayside, just curious 'cause as I have said before this story is amazing!! And lastly, I wonder what Oz is going to say in the morning?? Author's Response: Well, the drabbles just sort of fit in in different chapters, so they don't have to be read at any particular time. As for how many chapters now, I hate to say a number, because I'm sure I won't hit it. :) I can see the end, but as for how much writing it will actually take, I don't know. Maybe 80? But don't hold me to it. :) It wasn't like I originally planned for sixty. It was just that I knew there would more or less be two parts, LA & SD. Besides Buffy and Spike, there would be a shift in the plot and the characters between the two parts. And when I got to chapter 30, I just sort of figured the SD part would take about the same amount of time. Hehe, I was wrong.

Oooo, creepy slayer dreams with Faith. Kinda makes me wonder if she's merely there to warn, or what. I liked this chapter in the sense that it seemed very domesticated - only I hope he does give her a key, could come in useful, hee hee. GOd, Angelus and his mind tricks, showing up out of the blue, brrrrr, he gives me the wiggins when he's like that. And now Darla shows up too?
