Slayer? Curious as to what that is all about? She certainly would have had the strength to get away if she was... and you gotta love Spike rescuing her as her knight in dark armor. Can't wait for the Spuffiness!

Yay to the story not being even half over! Thank God I'm gonna have something decent to read for awhile.

I love this story. This is the first time I'm reviewing but I've been keeping up on it since the beginning.

You're seriously evil for leaving it there, but I'm glad Spike still seems to be watching her. Or just happened to be at the right place and right time. So, is she the Slayer, or do they just think she is? I'm really interested to find the truth out about that. Can't wait for more=)

Thought there would be more muscle after Buffy. Guess they thought Vampire vs. Vampire would be an even fight.

Author's Response: Well, the reason Spike has for not seeing her again is he's a vampire, but Buffy can't exactly tell Cordy that. So complicated, I guess. :) Spuffy coming tomorrow!

Ah Smith. when Spike feels warm now, being back, he solved the problem.
I wonder if Buffy is off the hook. Or if somebody will step in and collect the debt Hank had (inheriting it from Smith). And if Spike can keep his secret from Buffy. He doesn't have a reason to stay now....

Although, it is rather morbid, it was cute that he actually murdered someone for her. Morbid I know.

Hmm I wonder what will happen now that there really is no threat against Buffy. Will Spike leave? Or will he stay and just lie to her?

He killed him for her...aaww :) Sweet isn't exactly the word I'm looking for here, but considering he's a vampire, killing to protect a human girl is pretty big. I bet she's gonna find out ;) He's in for some ass kicking *grins* Can't wait to find out more about the slayer!

I like that you don't rush the sexual relationship with them as well as any romantic relationship but you just build up the tension just as the title of this chapter.

Very good writing.

I love the update as well as well as where you are taking this story.

Of all the updates I had to choose from yours was the one I picked to read because I absolutely love it. I think the sexual tension between the two is spot on and it would seem that Buffy has accepted what Spike is by the offering of her blood. Cannot wait for the next update - soon please.

Now *that* was an awsome chapter! Little bit 'o blood play, little bit 'o smoochies, nice ride on Spike's motercycle...loved it! And I really liked how, just when you had us feeling all smooshy about Spike, you reminded us about what a cold-blooded killer he really is. It's that kind of dichotmy in the character that I love seeing explored in fanfic.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Yeah, it doesn't do to forget what Spike is for too long. We know, of course, but Buffy hasn't really been confronted with it. And he seems to be glossing over bits where she's concerned.
