Seems like Buffy's really not wanted to even think about the bad side of Spike being a vampire. I think it's a lot more effective for her to actually see it than to have it come up in conversation, so I'm glad you took that route. Spike hasn't hidden anything about being a vamp, but he has occasionally soft-pedaled things a bit (like not telling Buffy he brutally murdered the guy having her kidnapped). I think it's really important for her to realize exactly what she's dealing with before making any decisions.

Author's Response: Hehe, the list seemed a good way to sum up Spike's thoughts about Buffy. Yeah, Buffy has been not questioning anything too much about being a vampire, even with what she's already heard. She'd rather not bring it up than realize something bad. But we knew the "issue" had to come up sometime. Glad you liked the way I pulled it off!

i love the part when buffy notices his hand was warm. i always wondered if that would happen after feeding. great chapter

Author's Response: It's going to get a bit bumpy for a while. :) There was a line Spike had in The Gift about blood making them warm, so I went with it. Glad you liked!

Author's Response: Nope, Spike hasn't hidden anything, but Buffy hasn't really been confronted with the 'vampire' aspect of him until now. Glad you're liking it!

OK Spike is still killing - huge obstacle. So he's gonna have to get his blood in bags from now on - he can do it because he did when he was living at Buffy's - and it had better not be human! That is if Buffy will have anything more to do with him but the chances of her not seeing him are slim and I still have the feeling she'll be needing his help to survive. Spike's warm hand was a really nice touch and his list of rules made me smile. I loved every word - again.

Author's Response: Yeah, huge obstacle. He might not go straight to bagged though, even though we know that he CAN. Buffy's not gonna want to have much to do with him, but he's going to keep popping up. And you're half right about her needing his help. :) Thanks for reviewing!

I loved the eventual relization that there are some HUGE obstacles! I also loved the fact that spike hasnt fallen in love straightaway like in many fics.... cant wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Yeah, it's not all blood and peaches, as Spike would say. :) And there will be a few more obstacles. Nope, Spike's not straightaway in love, he's just sort of infatuated and stalky. But getting there, in his own way. Glad you're liking!

You are amazing at the keeping of the secrets [slayer issues].

Usually with a lot of stories the author tells so many clues that you are not surprised by the time the secret is not revealed, but you give enough to keep us guessing [literally]. I really am dying to know if Buffy is the slayer.

So Buffy became the slayer at one point but didn't have a watcher to tell her what she is now I guessed. But Spike said no. *wonders*
Loved the Spuffyness; looking forward to find out why the other vamps thought Buffy was the slayer.
