I think you've got each character just right for season 6. Manipulative magic-obsessed Willow, gentle Tara, eager excitable Dawn, bigoted Xander obsessed with the Spike/Buffy dynamic and the brutally honest under-appreciated Anya. Add the perky pre-Angelus Buffy and Spike being... Spike, and sparks are going to fly! Looking forward to the next chapter!

Since the Scoobies behavior wasn't gradual , younger Buffy is able to recognize both Willow controlling behavior and Xander obsession with her. Great update.

or she could just be stuck in the past, since we know buffy was never in a hell dimension. if that's the case, i wonder if you'll show the other buffy. i was also cursing willow for the interruption. i wanna know what spike would have said, but i'm sure it will come up later. i like this buffy, before all the crap that angelus put her through, she has more of an open mind. can't wait for more!

Ooh, I'm so loving this story!! **SQUEE!!!!!!!** You've got me all kinds of happy with Buffy's drooling over Spike!! I'm a total sucker for S1 Spuffy, so having S1 Buffy meeting and drooling over S6 Spike is just...neat!!! Great job and can't wait for more!

OH that was good, I wonder who is going to call Giles and what Buffy is going to do about Spike after all it is before she was jaded by Angel and she doesn't even know about what happened between her and Angel.

Nice contrast to the last chapter, and very logical that they would confuse her with the bot. Wonder how Spike will fare with a Buffy not hurt by Angel, Riley or Parker? So far it seems to be looking good for Spike. Glad that you had her accept Dawn so readily - without Joyce, Buffy will be lost. And Joyce could have been a voice in favor of Spike, although that doesn't seem to be a problem.

Nice job with the chaotic confusion of the reunion. Everyone mistaking Buffy for the robot was amusing, but not as funny as references to her ugly prom dress. Buffy's innate attraction to Spike was lovely, and her exchange with Dawn about him made me smile. Buffy not knowing Dawn and learning that her mom is dead were somber notes in this entertaining chapter.

Oh right.. that is not only Buffy 'before Angel', this Buffy didn't know Spike. So easily to forget; sometimes I think Spike was always there ;-)
A chance to get to know Spike better without being hurt by Angel. But she won't know Dawn either. Awe, but she noticed her to be family. And the other even thought Buffy wouldn't need to know that her mother was dead? No need to deny it...
Buffy was rather smitten with Spike, huh? I hope she won't be biased and can get to know Spike better, getting to know him without the Scoobies interfering (Buffy doing what the Scoobies like). We'll see how it will go...

This is an entertaining start, and I'm looking forward to how this younger, less jaded Buffy changes Season 6. She's meeting a much less evil version of Spike than canon Buffy, a Spike that hasn't tried to kill her time and again. With her friends all older and in college and careers, not to mention a mysterious sister, things should get really fun.
