This is a lovely story I liked how William wants to protect her and keep her safe where she always has to do that for everyone else she wants and lets William protect her.

Author's Response: I always felt so sad for Buffy in the series, because she was so young when she started taking care of the world. I just felt that if the opportunity arose where someone took care of her for a change, she would jump on it. Thanks so much for the review. :)

Ah I loved how you show he leads with his body language for her to follow him where he can't say what he means but leaves her hints. And I did a girlie sigh when he said he wanted to take her to a place she could just be herself and hugged her about the waist. Beautiful just beautiful.

Do I recommend this story? You bet your British Spike bad boy ass I do! This story has it all!!!!!

More? Before I die wanting to see what Buffy does that hurts William.

Oooooh! I never thought of horseback riding as a means to be alone with her good thinking there William in getting your lady all to yourself. I liked the part she messed up and said (Cars) and William was like (What?) and her scramble to cover her mistake. Anne was good to in this with her mothering and following up with William on his speaking with Elizabeth.

Is it ok that I beg for more soon? :P

Author's Response: lol. When I sent this chapter to my beta, she sent it back to me laughing, because she thought there was a plot hole concerning the car comment. She wrote a whole paragraph on it before she realized I did address the issue two sentences later. It's perfectly all right if you beg for more. I always love to read your reviews. Awww he's showering her with little trinkets of his affections. But I'm wondering how she fails to show him she loves him!!! Evil cliff hanger but I love your style anyways you always having me wondering what happens next. Excellent post.

Author's Response: I try not to have *too* many cliffhangers, but sometimes the chapters just work out that way. My strict policy is, when I don't have anymore to say in a chapter, I stop writing. So much to love going on in this chapter. I liked how Elizabeth wants to try to make William happy and how he loves her just as she is. I see a new plot twist is forming with this pony and some kind of twist involving it coming up soon. As usual this is great writing and a wonderful read. I'm biting my nails to see what happens next.

Author's Response: Physically, I think Buffy is perfectly capable of handling Angelus. It's only her mental blocks that are getting in her way. Wow, this is a -really- good story, and a well-written one as well. You have a strong grip on Buffy's voice, and I love the growing relationship between her and William. I never thought I would like a Buffy/William story, but this one can't get me to stop reading :)

I can't wait until she meets with Spike again and also to see how she feels about him then.

no!!!! I hate hate hate when I get to the end of these chapters cos I love this story so much! I love this story so much. I just read all 22 chaps at one sitting and would not of hesitated to stay up all night to finish it had there been more. There are not enough stories about William to suit me and this one is so well written. Can't wait to see if Buffy is able to get William past all that Victorian sexual repression. So exhausting isn't it? How will Buffy finally make it home and how will she and Spike react to each other when she does? How long before she kicks Angelus' undead ass up and down mainstreet? I'm on tenterhooks. Great work!
