I haven't left a review in quite some time I think, but I tell you right now your story still has my utmost attention. I really love that you are going into detail about William's transformation into Spike. His thoughts and dealings with Angelus are spot on--a great account of a character going from point A to B. Thank you for taking the time to do it.

Plus, great savagery . A personal highlight for me as it helps illustrate character change.

Interesting that you should think that I believe William is "so much better than Angelus." I actually love Angelus; he is one of my favorite characters. Yet CANON shows that he enjoys torturing and playing with his victims. Does this make him "worse" than William/Spike? Not necessarily. But it does make him different. If you can't distinguish the difference, I suppose that is your own problem.

The poor horro and shock lying there on the floor as to what just happened to him even I wished someone would save him from having this happen. I knew sooner or later Angelus would go after him but I did cry for this to happen I hope lighter times are coming for him.

I'm not sure who makes me want to throw up more Angel or Darla, and Drusilla is just everyones victim so it is hard to feel anything but bad for her I hope this hate for Angel fuels Spikes fire and he comes into his own. This was horrrible to see happen to William but that is the thing he isn't William anymore it is Spike with only small pieces of William left inside. I like your story of the William to Spike process and how you tell it. Great job :)

Even with all the horros going on Spike carries Elizabeths ring on him and it is good he guards it and does not let or allow them to take that one peice of himself or the brightness of what he did have away from him. No matter what anyone or thing does to him Spike will still have that one spot of goodness left inside of him and his love for her. Not even Angelus and his disgusting manner can wipe that out of William.
This is a story without measure on how good it is I love reading it.

Angelus is the evilest of evil and I thought his interest in Will was always creepy in his taking the time to teach him things and he is a goddamned psychopath and I cannot wait until Spike goes after him in some way.

William is just surpassing Angelus and he's trying to fight for his control over him but this was a huge mistake on Angelus part because William now sees he's not God like and he can fall and even though he tried to break William he only made him stronger and now he will be morre then Angelus ever was. So intricately written in the character development this is a story everyone needs to read.

I so appreciate the journey you are taking us on with this work. I've read hundreds of Spuffy fics but none so intrigueing. To have so much access to William's inner dialog and his struggles between who he is and his confusion about what he is becoming, yet still keeping that 'cord of communion' unbroken between his feelings for Elizabeth and the man/monster he is now.... its very moving. Love this story. Revealing chapter.
