omg i hope that buffy doesnt like angel at all and that she finds him to be a bastard. i love this story and am happy u updated. im really glad that their getting along and that spike is so protective of buffy. i really hope that oliver doesnt cause and problems and that spike and buffy get closer while on this tour. also i hope everything works out well and that everyones happy. please update as soon as u can, cant wait to read wat happens next. thanx

Duh.. Riley came himself. Spike won't be pleased. But Spike didn't see her back off again. Yay for them to talk again. :) Loved the teasing and the banter. Therefore loving the new chapter

Another execellent story, Jae. I've R & R'd The Trouble with Keeping Promises, so am glad you aren't abandoning it. ( I agree, the two stories don't fit together.) Now I have two human AU's to follow. You write so well that you may actually be opening whole new vistas for me. I really like Buffy in this and am going to be supremely interested to see how Spike develops the strength to meet her on equal terms. Am also enjoying many of their moments together. Thank you...I'll be waiting...

I really like Buffy's voice in this. So playful and strong. Nice usage of the "There's my guy," line, btw. It's a nice little shout-out to canon.

Can't wait for the upcoming tour! Your way of slowly building up the story but still keeping it interesting really works for me. There are so many AU fics with Buffy as the fragile woman, that it's really refreshing to read something a bit more faithfull to the original Buffy persona.
