Because you did. Because everyone needs savin' once in their lives. Because I love you Loved these lines.
And Buffy starting to let Spike in / acknowledged to herself that she needs him.
Buffy feared in vain that Spike would be angry with her; he's just very determent to have her open up to him now :)
Good to read you did an update. Writer's block sucks.
I've some LJ entries added to my memories to read the entries about DC later :) Saw some pics already.

I'll just sit at my laptop and watch Youtube to get my James fix ... lucky, lucky you seeing him in person. You should be flying high off of that for a long time sista. Those gorgeous eyes of his and that incredible personality that shines through EVEN on Youtube (I've convinced myself)... ahhhhh ... quite a guy...

Back to the matter at hand... GREAT chapter !! I've always loved this story. It is consistantly going in a strong direction and it's original character,Oliver, is well developed and adorable.

This Spike is so awesome, raw and real. Hope your muse is rockin' and rollin'.

I'm still here reading this wonderful fic... I sympathize with you on your writers block as my own muse has gone on strike on one of my wip's. I glad to know that a visist to see Mr Sexy-Eyes fix yours up little though, and the good company of like minded people.

Now back to your chapter reviewing I hope Buffy is finely going to take down the wall she has put up aroundhere heart because if not I can see Spike bringing in a bulldozer to do it himself...He's being extremely loving and caring and the room he ordered sounded wonderful...

Hey Jae , glad to hear yur feeling better and yur muse is kicking again, I got excited when I saw this update this is one of the stories I always look for as well as TTWKP. Ack! I can't believe I missed this when it was posted! It was an interesting update. I'm really curious to see what Buffy will have to say once she sees Spike. I really hope she doesn't close herself off and that she's able to really start trusting Spike.

You may want to put a date before the fainting spell. I got confused thinking we were still back in 2000. Then again, that may be fuzzy on purpose and well, I'm easily confused, especially at this hour!

Awwwwww. Yay, I've finished all the chapters that exist for the moment, which means I can go to sleep and wake up for work. Boooo, there are no more chapters :(

I liked this chapter. The only thing I got a little fuzzy on is what Buffy did after his ultimatum that surprised him. Also what she did in that chapter back in Vegas after she said she'd try. She alluded to something horrible she did after that. Every once in awhile it seems there's a tiny time jump and I feel like I missed something. But I'm like, mostly asleep now (not due to the story, other than the fact that I couldn't put it down so I stayed up too late), so I'm probably totally missing things.

I'm totally hooked on this and I'll be looking forward to your next update.


Author's Response: *nods* Yeah, the Vegas chapter was a little confusing for quite a few people. You didn't miss anything. Mostly Buffy's thoughts in the beginning of the next chapter were due to her own fears that she'd gone too far, pushed too much. She knew she screwed up and she didn't think she deserved to be forgiven. That's all. As for the other...she surprised him by saying yes. You've read through the whole thing so you know what a flip-flopper Buffy is and when she's backed into a corner, she tends to lash out. I wrote most of it in context, so I can see where it would be missed and I do tend to jump slightly...you're not imagining things. ; - ) I'll try not to next time. Thanks! ~Luv, Jae
