I wondered what Spike was thinking off what he didn't see. But it was Buffy has to go to the hospital. Though they can't help when it's caused magically.
But who was that at the end of the chapter? I'll wait till next week to find out.

love your characterizations :) can i take a wild guess and ask how long it will be befor ethey realise that buffy is fading away because she not feeding the bloodlust/dependency she is getting from Spike? and whether anya will eb the one to fix it for them? will be watching hopefully for updates :)

I couldn't send you an email for some reason and I don't have an account. BUT I am just loving this story. It is awesome to see Anya part of the Summer's family. Spike is being the caretaker of all of the women. I am glad that Joyce is home now and we are getting to see the tension between Buffy and Spike just because he wants to take care of her. Just awesome.

Great chapter!! Wow, no wonder Spike was nervous in the last chapter. I absolutely love the fact that Joyce trusts his so much with her and her family to make sure that they're all taken care of, and I can't wait to see more of this.

I absolutely loved the scene in the hospital. That is one of the best set tos I have ever read in fanfiction. In one fell swoop you gave buffy and anya a backbone. GREAT WRITING

I like this story but it seems to be more centered on Joyce's illness rather than what is wrong with Buffy & how to fix it. Maybe now that Joyce is ok the story can move forward

Oh she wants the tumor out; I feared that she didn't want to be reanimated if something is happening. They did take out almost all of the tumor? With some additional radiation therapy it should be okay *hopes*
Cute :) Buffy is denying very hard to be interested in Spike and yet she ended almost in his arms *g*

I've only just found this fic, and I just wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying it. I love that Buffy is finally seeing how manipulative Willow, Xander and Giles have always been regarding her personal life. Love the way you've got Anya standing up for herself against that jerk Xander, and the way she's helping Buffy. Love the whole Joyce/Spike/Dawn dynamic and the way Buffy's finally letting herself be... herself.
Just waiting for the explosion when one of the Scoobies calls Angel...
