i remember reading the first chapter before and i thought it was a oneshot. well, now that you added to it, not so sure how i feel about this story. i'm confused by the way they act with each other and i have to say that this is a bit out of character to me. riley would never act like that for one. i really hate how everyone always makes him such a jerk when he really wasn't on the show. and i don't understand how buffy can still consider spike to be an enemy after he saved her. they haven't really been enemies for a long time and she should know that, whether he saved her or not. hopefully she'll stop being such a bitch to him. i might keep reading to see what happens next. obviously i know where spike plans to lead her.
Author's Response: I'm sorry you thought they were OOC, there is a reason for Buffy to act a little strangely, something that I hope will become evident in the next chapter. The main reason for Buffy's easy dismissal, however, is that huge and ugly wall she has built around her heart. PLEASE give this story a chance- and thanks for reviewing all the same :)
