Of course Wood would show up. I was never a fan of his character on the show. I hope he doesn't hang around too long. I also hope that somehow Spike gets his strength back. Maybe you should also get rid of Giles. His hatred of Spike is bordering on ridiculous. I like your story though.

I'm re-reading this delightful story and wanted to say how much I'm enjoying it.

You really captured Andrew's flair for the over dramatic here: "Andrew gasped as he watched Xander’s hurried descent, fully expecting the heart of the Scooby gang to be ripped out with a tragic fall which no magic, no matter how dark or forbidden, could repair."

Giles' inner musing here was also delightfully in voice: " Giles decided to skip the aspirin and go straight to the Scotch. Yes, Cordelia was alive. It was fine news. He didn’t know why he’d been startled—people returned from the dead almost daily, it seemed; waking from a coma was barely worth mentioning, by comparison. News only fit for wrapping fish."

The start (the phone call / Cordelia) was fun.
But when Cordelia had this vision about Kennedy than Kennedy is the demon I guess.
And now I want to know how Willow's spell will work (what it will cause).
